@pokestrike But one of the main heads behind Pokémon literally said that everyone that was on the design team took influence from things they enjoyed IRL, and Jynx's designer was a big fan of a popular blackface children's book series that was bit in Japan and influenced Jynx's design from it. Japan doesn't take offense to it like other places do.

@pokestrike Gen II is pretty bad as well. I don't see the point in going anywhere before Gen III because Gen I and II are recreated with better game mechanics in Gen III and IV.
