I have officially converted 5 of my friends into bronies. I was beginning to lose hope after being the a lone brony for about 3 months. I feel like I just set a giant dry forest on fire.

I found some out-of-date meringue earlier. I threw it out, but it came back and shouted "boo!" It must have been a boomeringue.

You can be amazing at what you do, be it write, take pictures, make music, be an awesome cinematographer, hell even be an awesome lighting guy, but if you're quiet and don't shove what you do down everyones throat, no one cares. No one gives a papayas about your trade if you're modest. You have to be noisy, you have to be an obnoxious loud twat who spends way more time talking about what they do than they spend doing what they do. People don't care about quality, they care about the idiot running their mouth. Rather than look for real professionals, people find the loudest voice, and go 'Oh he says a lot he must know what he's doing!'. The people who are doing are way too busy to run their mouths, so they're always going to be overlooked. That's really frustrating. As a damn good engineer and someone who knows some amazing photographers who aren't noisy, it appleses me off seeing myself, and them getting dismissed because we're busy doing, and not running our mouths.

@starshine hahaha, no actually I didnt! I started drawing when EqD did the newbie artist training ground and I kept doing it everyday since, so all I draw are ponies. Which means i've only been sketching for a few months now. Here attached is one I did on my 2nd or 3rd day (sorry for that bad photo quality). I used guides, lots of guides and advice from a pencil artist friend IRL. I practiced alot and still do, every single day I draw at least 1 thing. That contributed more than anything else! A friend saw me taking screencaps of the Pie family for a project and she was like "what's going on?", to which I replied "so the pink pony was born in this Mennonite rock farming pony family and they do not understand what happiness is until she saw a rainbow and invented parties". She was all like "Who wrote this?! Seriously, who wrote this because this is AWESOME."
