At first I thought I broke my browser game again when I tried to open it at school. Then I realized school still uses Internet Explorer 8 and I haven't been doing any wrong (I mean, like, really. I should support an outdated browser which can't even understand what "height=30%" means?)

@redenchilada Our school used to be mediocre strict. Then a friend of mine abused a lot of vulnerabilities for fun. Printing tons of black pages on the teacher printer, copying over a(n unencryped!) database with all personal student info, hacking the admin account and turning himself into an admin. Etc, etc. Our system admin still sucks at his job (you can execute .exe files you "open" from the Internet without saving, but not otherwise) but I try to not misbehave, even though using IE8 is pretty much asking for trouble. Thinking of that, is there any site which REALLY kills IE8? :P

@underdogbassist !bcbronies It is right after the Saturday Metrotown Meetup. Originally we were going to head to the one on Kingsway, but we've since changed it to a bigger one on Grandview Hwy. That is also in close proximity to a Wal-Mart, so we can head there for more toys after the Pizza Hut Meet.

@redenchilada I hope nothing horrible has happened. I be devastated. Hopefully she and her detractors may have decided to quiet down a bit. Perhaps she is now under a different name? Oh well... wherever in the world she is, @purpletinker has a special place among our brony community and will always be remembered. I remember her the first time we met IRL. I may have pushed to her from quiet fan to full community organizer, and a darn good one to boot. #missupurpletinker

@garyoak PLEASE blame the venue over blaming the planning staff. There is so much BS we couldn't do because of the world's most idiotic contract and it pushed everything way back. Given that the con was originally supposed to be about a 700-person max, they did whatever they could to try and accommodate, having a separate livestream room and a DJ-dance of some sort downstairs. If those filled up, I dunno what to say, but the hotel people and their ridiculously bureaucratic policies got in the way of so much damn stuff.
