@anarchycarcino Ditzy Doo was in the actual script for the show, and that's what they called her until the name Derpy Hoover started becoming a popular fan name. I suppose it got to the point that even they started noticing the name.

@neurario @anarchycarcino As far as I know, she was going to be named Ditzy Doo due to an either intentional or accidental mistake on her eyes on the first episode. In The Last Roundup, they decided to use the name Derpy as a nod to the fans.

@neurario The thing is, that's where they got the idea of the name Derpy, because it was fan named from that term, or at least I think that's where its from.

@outcastpony I'm not really sure to be honest, for the most part recently I've been only able to get on here later on throughout the day or late at night. There isn't really a best time to be on that I know of, maybe when most people aren't at school and work I guess.
