@abigpony Occupy Miami apparently had police support (when I last read about it like a month ago). Like, they went and brought bottled water for them and protestors and police were actually engaging in friendly dialogue.

@abigpony There's so much news it's ridiculous. It's hard to keep track of everything, especially since the Zuccotti eviction. And wat. Why?

@abigpony Haven't heard too much from Anaheim and Irvine (except for their mention on a subreddit) but Oakland and LA are among the largest on the West Coast right now. Oakland's still a pretty solid protest last I heard and LA's got approval from the city. I can see that one sheltering a lot of homeless, really.

When you've managed to successfully mount a recovery image after bricking your device, don't try and mess with everything right away! @abigpony Depends on who you ask and which movements you go to, really. Most of the centered views are at the larger protests like OccupyLA

@abigpony Those are from fringe elements of the group, like most corporate media outlets will spit out. Anarchy is definitely looked down upon in the movement and there's a lot of data to support that higher tax rates on corporations and upper-class citizens isn't actually a bad thing.

@abigpony Yes they do. The thing is, their central stance isn't bite-sized. The government, political and economic systems are so screwed up that it's going to take massive reform to achieve the goal of this movement which is essentially returning equality and power to the average American instead of multi-billionaires and corporations that undermine our nation so they can continue to make money on the backs of middle and lower-class citizens.

@abigpony Totally. I can agree with everything they stand for and I'm glad I wasn't alone in holding my egalitarian beliefs for as long as I have.
