  8. Since we're talking about the mane 6 as young ones, can I just say that I found young Rarity to be adorable? I want Sweetie Belle to meet young Rarity. I don't care how!

  9. @leonkfox We were talking about the sonic fanbase and the first thing I think of when I hear 'sonic fanbase' is sonichu.

  10. @leonkfox I think they have a phase where you have A (pinkie filly) then B (fluttershy as shown) then C (adult proportions)

  11. @leonkfox From the CWCki: "The last known reference to MLP made by Chris was on the Tomboys and Tomgirls of Virginia forum, where Chris used a picture of Applejack from the more recent My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic animated series as his avatar (though his screen name was modeled after the nickname of another major character- Rainbow Dash)." My response: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

  12. @noizybrony Maybe he'll start drawing a new comic and introduce Twilight Sonichu, born in CWCville Virginia and Christian Weston Chandler's daugher from far in the future. Then he'll dress like her and walk about Ruckersville.

  13. @leonkfox My greatest fear is that Chris-Chan starts liking FiM. He already enjoys G1-3 D:

  15. @leonkfox Oh yeah, I'm not saying that it's the only thing affecting your call but if you're not careful then it can consume you, especially when everything has changed (which it will!) from now.

  16. @noizybrony I don't really know what a burrito is, to be honest. I've never seen anywhere selling them.

  17. @leonkfox I mean like in general, it's really easy to fall into conservatism. You start out wishing things were back like they were when you were a kid because you're looking back with rose-tinted glasses and soon you're complaining about the youth of today and the 'decay or society' or whatever. It's almost happened to me!

Friday, 29-Jul-11 14:57:13 UTC from web in context
  18. @noizybrony Do you know, I've never eaten a burrito.

Friday, 29-Jul-11 14:53:47 UTC from web in context
  19. @noizybrony I find it funny afterwards that I alternate between the two, perhaps expecting there to be something different in it after I close and open the door again.

Friday, 29-Jul-11 14:51:15 UTC from web in context
  20. @leonkfox Aah well. Can't want everything as it used to be, that path leads to being a conservative, a fate worse than death!

Friday, 29-Jul-11 14:48:52 UTC from web in context
  21. @noizybrony I think I spent maybe 20 minutes today staring into my freezer, looking at the same foodstuffs over and over wishing I could somehow suddenly want one of them. I just had some cola instead. Sorted!

  22. @leonkfox You'd think that but I remember really liking SVR because it had that thing where you could damage different body parts with attacks. Helped immerse me more since I had trouble believing that someone could shrug off a sledgehammer to the neck like they could in the previous games.

  23. @noizybrony Have you ever had that feeling where you're really craving to eat something but don't know what that thing is? That.

Friday, 29-Jul-11 14:37:05 UTC from web in context
  24. @leonkfox I think they might have made it more realistic because they saw that more children than adults were playing. Don't know about you, but I didn't get keyfabe when I was a kid, I thought it was all real.

  25. @leonkfox They introduced new controls in 2006, didn't they, stamina and stuff? That might have something to do with it. I don't know, I haven't played wrestling games in many years.

  26. @leonkfox Aah, I see what you mean. That's really what you're going to get with any sports series, they don't have any plot to them so the only thing keeping them going is improving gameplay.

  27. @leonkfox FIFA was absolutely horrible in the PS2 era, PES walked all over it. Current-gen FIFA is better than current-gen PES, though.

  28. @captlynch I enjoy making mistakes in rpgs, I have a dwarf fortress mentality (losing is fun!). But thanks for the advice, I guess.

  29. @leonkfox Just Bring It was honestly unplayable, you're right. I had a tourny with my next-door neighbour when she got SVR in 2004, we played matches on both so we got to compare controls.

  30. @captlynch I snagged the original one for a fiver on ebay, GOTY edition was like £40 or something stupid like that. I like to play the games without guides at first, makes it more interesting.
