  3. @yorkiebrony Actually hot branding isn't near as a bad as it sounds, at least not for cattle anyways. I've seen cattle branded via the burn method and they have a much higher pain tolerance then you'd expect. It's nowhere near torture for the animals, but I guess freeze banding is also good. Microchips can also be easily removed by cattle rustlers, while a simple brand will make all their efforts in vain.

  6. !yorkshire @yorkiebrony yeah, the network, the forum hasn't really been used at all to my knowledge. It's something we'll have to keep up on in future though

  7. !yorkshire @yorkiebrony we actually make most of the actual decisions among the organisers in a skype chat and then post them on both UKoE and RDN, rather than just one or the other.

  17. !yorkshirebronies @elscire Yeah, pub is only really any use to anyone who is able to stay that late (i.e. not many people). Pominator says if anyone from further afield did want to stay late at the pub, then they can crash at his place for the night, and travel home the next day. But, officially we'll be finishing about half five or whatever, so no fret if it's too late. @yorkiebrony Basically, purplephish was suggesting that the next meetup could be in Sheffield, and also had the idea to try and make it a larger thing with more attendees. If this is the case, it would be good if anyone from Sheffield with contacts in the Uni could get a large room with a projector for the meetup. I just mentioned a few people who I could remember living in Sheffield. Anyway, hopefully this plan may just happen. A big meetup in Sheffield would be awesome! Also, have fun at the Cello Day!

  18. @yorkiebrony Awwww, anyway me and klayking have proposed Sheffield for the next one, and he wondered with your university connections if there was any suitable place to set up base?

  20. @purplephish20 Woohoo! We're keeping this super cheap! Lunch will be like £3, blind bags are £2 each if you want them, and the pub is completely optional, if it even is an option for you at all at the late time of 7pm. Also, if you want a big meet, then get advertising the next yorkshire meetup to as many people as you can! I'm sure many of the Leeds lot will come down to Sheffield if we are looking at numbers of 50 or more! Just be sure to see if you, @yorkiebrony or another person living in the city can get us a discount room in the Uni if we do get big numbers!

  23. @zeiferrei !yorkshire Ey'up! jus' got back... Due to a bugger up with trains (not my fault) I arrived in sheffield 10 minutes after the train I was going to then get had left... so I then had to spend nearly an hour waiting for the next one.... which meant I could have stayed for the extra hour and had that second game of bowling I payed for... (DISCORD in lane 4, I won the one game I played) However I did rendezvous again with @yorkiebrony when he got off his train from leeds.... You where the one I was sat opposite from in Brio's right? (lots of download festival discussion)...... All in all great day!!!

  24. @yorkiebrony ah, that sucks. still, you could always e-bay a bunch off to somewhere that doesn't get them. that will also help future job applications if you can pass it off as entrepreneurism
