So, here I am, in my 30s, and totally bitten by the MLP-FiM bug. I play cello, love the books and horse riding too.

Bit of a busy week here: concert on Saturday, a mock viva yesterday, and two applications due today. Not to mention the other applications I really really really really really really want to do.... Also I found out one of my newly arrived brony shirts is unique (something gone different with printing) so I get another one as well. *yay*. Well time to get organised and do some application work :p

@pawnheart Ah, the singing voice. Yeah, I was paying more attention to Twilight singing in French *sigh*... Concert was good. Quite some people showed up, and I think it all went well. Audience was enthusiastic too. Of course there are always things that could have gone better - that's why we did an encore - but in general.... Playing Grieg's 4th Symphonic Dance at one moment I thought I went through my cello. Never knew it had that much sound (and clear sound!) in it. Made the concert 20% cooler.

@rotation Je crois qu'on doit survivre l'hiver avant d'arriver au printemps. Et aussi l'hiver pourrait être très joli avec la neige, le patiner, se promener dans la forêt... Mais c'est vrai: après trois mois dans le froid de l'hiver il faut que le printemps arrive

@pawnheart Yay, il y a un autre :-) I've progressed more in memorising "L'hiver s'enfuit" than "Winter Wrap Up". Must be the voices. Twilight being dubbed in French somehow does wonders to my ears.

@pawnheart Thanks! I have to admit I love to watch the geographic spreading of the song. It's like playing Risk :-) Right now I'm a bit busy with applications and study, but I have done the first bit of my first French PMV. I might be one of the very few on this island who likes France and the French :-) btw, too bad you've to catch up on today's episode too.

@purplephish20 Even then... When Twilight lost her mind a couple of episodes back, it ended with them all writing down their reports. Anyway, perhaps Twilight needed a break :-) Still, I really don't want to know what my mood will be if she's absent for another episode.... :-P

Woke up later than usual (at 10.30am). Spent the day doing laundry (*yay*), finalising another PMV that will soon be launched on youtube. And tried to get my head and hooves around writing a teaching philosophy. Calling my favourite of the Mane-6: Twilight, can you help me please?

But well, maybe I should have been a bit more proactive in my directions: could have directed all of us to Weston Park. Bigger and better than... well.... Unfortunately for all of us me not being so convincing, guess that's the Fluttershy-part of my character :)

@purplephish20 Not remembering names? I recognise that feeling. Have already enough troubles remembering the right first name with the right face, not to mention nicknames. So that's why I had my name on my coat :D Btw, the street where we saw the clash of the furries was named Division Street. Classic case of nomen est omen?

!midlands What is a visit to Sheffield without seeing a fight? Well.... Should I be ashamed to say that's the city I live in? Anyway, it is true that Sheffield is quite the green city, but that's because part of it stretches out towards the Peak District. The meetup was wonderful, have to go to more meetups. And do some studying in between for the quiz. Or some training for laser quest? Nah, I'd rather remain a pacifist :-) Thanks all for showing up. @purplephish20 I understand. Well, my family lives abroad, so I don't see them often. They do know about me making PMV's and enjoying the show, and they think it's rather odd or even childish. But at the same time they let me be. And my friends here find it weird too, but I can talk about it with them. In fact, yesterday one of my friends complimented me with my first PMV, despite the fact he doesn't really like ponies. Or horses... :-)

@purplephish20 I live in Sheffield, so I just take a bus to the train station (well, 52 again, down to Arundel Gate and walking to station from there) :-) btw, please don't worry too much over an alibi. Over the years I've spent too long worrying about what other people might think of me and it didn't help me at all. If they don't like me for enjoying MLP, then that's their problem.

Had a really friendly encounter with a horse yesterday when out and about in the Peak District. Today: laundry (and of course it started to drizzle a bit, blech), mails for study/work, and working on the 2nd PMV. Still a nagging feeling I could have done more. Incredible how fast this day has passed by...

@pawnheart Visiting Meadowhall on a Saturday afternoon was not the best move I made lately. People say Ikea is busy on Saturdays. They obviously haven't been to Meadowhall haha.

@rotation Earlier this year I had a good (and not too expensive) meal at Mamas and Leonies, an Italian restaurant not too far from the Crucible theater. So if we all like Italian cuisine, it might be worth to consider :-)
