@broniebrown My hate list : "Nothing" ... My "I severely dislike" list : broad beans, Hutspot ( hotchpotch ) and people who dare to claim it is a meal. Persons who cause me to ( nearly ) fail at something, and asparagus... I'm afraid that I will go on your list now because you are jealous of my short lists.
-
@broniebrown That makes sense, I tend to do the same with any creative endeavors I embark on. Though generally I usually represent things more personal and internal than things in the external world, if that makes any sense.
-
@broniebrown Maybe you should direct your focus more towards things you like and stop worrying about the things you hate.
-
@broniebrown I'll totes enjoy it, bubble tea is my jam
-
@broniebrown Bubble tea is fantastic, man. It's totally tea too, last time I checked there wasn't a high society for leaf water.
-
@broniebrown Amen brother
-
@broniebrown Just a part of .NET, still no positive outcomes from that.
-
@broniebrown Dork sounds too negative.
-
@broniebrown ... Elvish-German dictionary ? ... Isnt Elvish a secret option under translate.google.de ?
-
@broniebrown I want comics, I want a lot of comics, but more importantly I want the time to read and appriciate what I already have. I want more space in my room without having to throw stuff which I do not need anymore thrown out... Also I wish I knew where I could buy comics... DON'T TELL ME !!! I will only buy them and store them at this point.
-
@broniebrown Cool :)
-
@broniebrown Really ?
-
@broniebrown If you have 3000 exahertz to throw at a problem or a mere 500 gigahertz because you needed to come up with something on the spot. Well, that could explain the "problem"

@broniebrown Voyager was/is an Interpit-class starship. It had the possibility of scanning/scanning entire databases prior to establishing first contact, ( or radio-comminucations ). Deep Space 9 ( Terok Nor ) was a converted Cardassian space station in orbit of Bajor ( Chief Miles O'Brien continuously complained about loving his job that there was constantly something to fix ). Even though Voyager was taken from the alpha Quadrant 2 years earlier than Deep Space 9 was "founded" it makes sense that DS9 was not equipped with exploration abilities hardware & software. Or it was not a priority to fix since "What's the chance of meeting a new species out here ?"

@broniebrown Is it true that Star Trek teleporters work by killing you and then creating a new you somewhere else?
-
@broniebrown Because they do not have coherent languages, but rather "warning and anouncement" tjirps ( for birds ) and possibly meow's for cats ( cats are not known to be really vocal at that ) ... I believe I saw a few case studies about birds and at least 1 about "cat's can probably understand us but they do not care enough" ... As such holding up a working "Universal Translator" that works next to a tree with tjirping birds it would probably like [its nice here] * 18, [lets look for shelter ?] * 5, [possible threat here] * 2, and [watch out, I am going to land here] * 3

@broniebrown I hate Star Trek science
-
@broniebrown you have to realize that the technology is already really stupid; how do they explain the science of the device translating a language it's never heard?
-
@broniebrown That implies animals have an actual coherent language and not just a single sound that vaguely means "who wants to dole me"
-
@broniebrown If it us used in high performance computing ( whereas you may arguably argue that it could be replaced ( and may work better with ) a "new" age programming language ), if it is still used I see the pro's to learning that language. Hence where we come to the "Luger to the table" analogy. arguably argue ? is that correct english ?
-
@broniebrown Fortran is like a German Luger. old, reliable, old fashioned, and people look at you kinda funny for trying to bring one to the table.
-
@broniebrown From what I gather the sequel adds "An actual plot"
-
@broniebrown Flooding ?
-
@broniebrown ... Is that the episode that starts with home getting chain fed grapes by a futurama greek robot thingie ?
-
@broniebrown Great. Now they are playing the soundtrack of Sherlock (BBC).
-
@broniebrown Mack and Brian are both pretty much loo'zr qualified people methinks
-
@broniebrown Then why has one of my friends ( lets call him Mack ) such a problem with his iphone to upload music to the device once his PC goes haywire again ( and believe you me, he has familyphoto's.exe in his download folder right now, I can guarantee it, not the actual filename, but I can still guarantee it ), he seemingly can't use another PC ( He tried using another one of my friend's PC's to do so, to no avail. Lets call this friend Brian ) . Since I do not use iTunes and generally stay away from Apple related products like they are a carrier of some disease I do not way I could not help him nor could explain to him what the problem was. Can you ?
-
@broniebrown I did not know Itunes was compattible with physical copies or artist bought material.
-
@broniebrown You use Itunes ? *shock* why ? I thought you did not like practices of buying non physical copies ? ( at least I think that Itunes is pretty much Steam for music, I could be wrong though )
-
@broniebrown Cool, then you probably see the same appeal in http://store.steampowered.com/app/237470/ as I see. I am sort of torn that I did not see this thing when it was released ( a little bot over a year ago according to the release date on steam ) however I am not sure wether to buy it, or wait for a sale. ... At any rate I should play the demo first
