  1. @flaxx Wow, I just realized that. I can pretty much NEVER stand voice acting (In English at least.), and MLP has managed to have good enough voice acting for me to actually forget that it has voice acting. :D

  2. @earflaps That's probably why I never find anyone. Obviously there isn't enough pink-haired women with wings. :D

  3. @flaxx Same here. I love all all of them, but I've just never been a country sorta person XD Southern accents tend to drive me insane.

  4. @lonewanderer Is it bad that Applejack was my least favorite at the start, and still is? D:

  5. @flaxx Gummy is definitely the most nonsensical part of the entire show, for srs :V

  6. @princessluna You need to learn to make them in all different sizes. I need one for my corgi :D

  7. @princessluna THAT IS THE GREATEST THING :O YOU NEED TO MAKE MORE OR SOMETHING like seriously

  8. @nvrrmbr why cant i stop pressing the play button

Tuesday, 31-May-11 20:23:02 UTC from web in context
  9. @communistprime I've tried that before. It ends up that it's incredibly hard to get responses from people when people have to use a translator to read what you're saying :P

  10. @zukraze Just wait until you read my fic whenever I finish the first chapter. Pinkie Pie is basically suffering from a several-decades-long case of rainbow/happiness withdrawal. :P

  11. @strawberryspice I WILL BE GOING TO OTAKON will i also get stickers and hugs

Tuesday, 31-May-11 20:08:35 UTC from web in context
  12. @zukraze This is that video I was talking about that inspired me. I love how happy it is, with that odd, uncomfortable tinge of creepy in it. It's so unnerving that it's glorious

  14. @carcinopony I had kind of skipped over most of Cutie Mark Crusaders(I know, I'm a horrible person), so this PMV made me realize Pinkie's origin story or whatever, and how it could be used in reverse.

Tuesday, 31-May-11 19:57:02 UTC from web in context
  15. Wow. I never thought that a single PMV could give me enough inspiration to make Pinkie Pie one of the most crazily thought-out characters in my fic. :V

  16. @ickus Now there's a good idea as well. So many good ideas, it's hard to choose. Hmm

Tuesday, 31-May-11 17:45:58 UTC from web in context
  17. @ickus That's true. Hmm.. There's also the idea that the entire "World is dark and crazy and there's no time to be lighthearted anymore" thing has driven her slowly insane. It works better from a timeline perspective, maybe. Both work, though. Hrm.

Tuesday, 31-May-11 17:42:06 UTC from web in context
  18. @binary I think I die a little inside every time I realize that I used a double negative

Tuesday, 31-May-11 17:34:44 UTC from web in context
  19. @ickus Oh god, why did you have to say that. Now I can't NOT use the idea of an institutionalized Pinkie. But at the same time, I'm trying to keep this (rather far-fetched) alternate-future story within their personality types. Hrm. Then again, Pinkie IS insane. Bwah, I guess it DOES make sense :D

Tuesday, 31-May-11 17:32:40 UTC from web in context
  20. @starshine That is so glorious that I may very well use that. It's just like her to go off on some huge, rambling, winding story.

Tuesday, 31-May-11 17:29:59 UTC from web in context
  21. Glorious, another problem solved. Now all I need to figure out is where, in this huge, depressing, steampunky, corrupted world, would an aging Pinkie Pie be hanging out? I have all of the other characters sorted out completely. Pinkie is quite possibly the antithesis of the entire idea of dark literature. CURSE YOU PINKIE PIE

  22. I think I'm going to go with "The Desolation" or "The Smog" or something. Definite articles make everything sound more menacing. :V

Tuesday, 31-May-11 17:20:25 UTC from web in context
  23. @ickus Yeah, that was what I was thinking. Especially since a lot of the setting has to do with the fact that the skies/land have been darkened from ash and smog from factories and stuff. Hrm..

Tuesday, 31-May-11 17:18:35 UTC from web in context
  24. @ickus I like this, it has the feel I'm going for, but I still don't know if it's what I want to go with. It's kind of a mouthful. Hrm..

Tuesday, 31-May-11 17:13:47 UTC from web in context
  25. @earflaps Kind of. I don't think it has the sort of idea I'm going for. I can't really imagine a forest that was turned into a desolate wasteland by "antimagic". It needs some sort of intimidating name..

Tuesday, 31-May-11 17:11:29 UTC from web in context
  26. So, yeah. I'm at a loss. Anyone have a good idea for a name for a sort of weird, anti-magic, corrupting force that spread across the land? Something created by a neglect for magic, and growth of industrialism. ..Yes, this is for my fanfic.

  28. Random thought of the day: It's amazing what a year can do. A year ago I was trying to figure out why I had so few friends, now the problem is that I have so many best-best friends that I don't know who my BEST friend is. I guess it's a good problem to have :D I guess that's what changing school districts does for you
