  1. @ceruleanspark Is it maybe a hardware failure, like the specific dedicated core burned out on the machine?

  3. @ceruleanspark I do miss the crowd here from the past. When the timeline would actually be alive. When there was a defiant "RDN2" group on Skype.

  4. @ceruleanspark It depends on the store. Some have a little bit of stock (or the stuff on the show floor). But mostly it is made on demand.

  9. @ceruleanspark you all probably think I’m being facetious, but this is more or less literally how I met my boyfriend.

  11. @ceruleanspark TBS is indeed the network it was on. It was supposed to be part of an original animated block with a Louis C.K. show and J.G. Quintel’s new show. Louis C.K.’s show was cancelled for obvious reasons, Quintel’s is the Half-Life 3 of animated television and no news on it has been released in a while, so Final Space just ended up being part of their usual lineup with the other remaining animated show on the block.

  18. @ceruleanspark Oh, you mean dzuk's blockchain that got passed around. The guy is infamous for being insane and adding literal parody posts to his list of "examples" of why sites should be blocked.
A month or so ago he got blocked out of his own instance due to poor security practices and blamed the hosting company for it, then restarted it from scratch with a different subdomain since he didn't know how to clear it either. He also had no backups whatsoever.

  19. @ceruleanspark Sounds like regular fedi magic. One day it works, the next it doesn't. It didn't even die at the same time servers were switched, if servers were switched when the avatars broke.

  21. @ceruleanspark those that initiated the list never communicated with anyone such as an admin. They just saw posts from instances they didn’t like and went from there. Screw them. If that’s their reaction to disagreeable posts then who would want discourse with them.

  24. @ceruleanspark oh it’s likely on their end. Not blocking unless you count the Mastodon instances that share that block list. At either rate it doesn’t matter much.

  29. @ceruleanspark is there a way to make it so that blocked users don't show up on the popular timeline client-side, or is that outside the realm of possibility?
