@circuithooves Yup. I was a furry then BEECAME a brony, then lost the furryness, and then im losing some pony,(but i've still got it) But not all bronies are furries. I hate it when people call us furries.

Then there is EMP from "overloading". You could simply destroy small electronics, RFID tags, and computer systems with stuff you can pick up at the local radioshack. All you would need for that is a high-current momentary switch, a small toggle switch, general purpose hookup wire, insulated thick copper cable, and a disposable camera...

A nuclear rocket at least, there are eltrical based ones. But the most well known is a nucular based emp.

@circuithooves There are 3 sorts of EMP that are "possible" here... The first one is naturally occuring ( N-EMP ) which occurs when the magnetic sphere of the earth is being stretched out in 1 direction ( creating a dropplet looking sphere, including tail ) due to solar winds "playing" with our magnetic sphere, NASA created STEREO ( if memory serves me well ) to predict these sorts of things ( but mostly solar flares, which also do the same thing ) ... EMP occurs when the solar wind dies down and the tail of the dropplet slams back towards earth

@critialcloudkicker It is kind of impossible to protect yourself from this sort of EMP because the PJ of it can range from 40 to 4000 ( think Tsar Bomba times 0.4 or 40 ) ... Kinda like how a rubber umbrella would not protect you from a thunderstrike.

@snowcone Lets paint that picture. Pets take an electricity substation and build a cage around it of tin-foil. The insides of that cage would become HOT AS HELL, so it would need active cooling. Not to mention al the wild energy coming through and the possibility of arcing. To combat it somewhat you would need to attach the cage to the ground-water ( creating a cage of farraday ) ... Which would be EXPENSIVE AS HELL

@snowcone Do you know how EMP waves work ? The only way to shield against EMP is with a cage of Faraday. I really doubt that all electricity substations are effectively shielded with a Faraday cage. All electricity stations ? Well probably, but that still would be an enourmous amount of cash. Also for a 20 PJ EMP bomb you would need an awefull lot of materials
