  1. Guys I'm not an expert. At what point in the Bible is it appropriate to leave a condom for future generations?

        1. @thelastgherkin Given the technology and timeline, I think it would have to be Book of Mormon at the earliest.

          1. @scribus What happens there?

            1. @thelastgherkin No idea, haven't gotten around to reading it yet. Nor have I finished the Old Testament, or translated the Quran from Spanish into English...

              1. @scribus Dudes in Birmingham was giving out free Qur'ans the other day. I was like don't we need to wash our hands before handling them??

                1. @awl Nah, I just figured I'd do it as a multi-tasking thing. Learn Spanish AND something about another culture!

                  1. @scribus That's actually an interesting concept! Maybe i could do the same with Arabic, if there's a translation in a more modern dialect.

                    1. @awl Yeah, it would probably be really neat if I actually get around to it. :p

        1. @clayinthecarpet I wasn't referring to any sculpture, but my favorite religious sculpture is probably Bernini's David. I might like some more, but I'm bad at remembering my Spanish works. I know I loved some of their stuff.

          1. @pony I love Bernini. His work is like 3,000-times my ability, *and* in stone/marble. Just...incompatible is how I'd compare myself, though I was talking musically, originally.

                1. @clayinthecarpet Ah cool. Well I suppose I could upload some shots of my work to dA. I haven't done much, but I've loved what I've done.

                  1. @pony Do ittttt. I love seeing others' pony work in 3D format, whether I should/can critique it or not. Our hobby doesn't have enough 3D art, overall.

                    1. @clayinthecarpet Ah the only pony scuplting I've done has been in oven-bake sculpey, but it hasn't turned out so I have nothing complete.

                      1. @pony Sculpey is a crappy medium unless you have a great skeleton of wire underneath it to hold/distribute the weight of the stuff.

    3. @vt3c Brendon, nah. This cannot be baked. It must be molded. If I stuck this thing in an oven, the clay would melt into a puddle because it's wax/oil-based.

    4. @vt3c Sculpey is polymer-based. It bakes in an oven.
