  1. I was just scared awake by a dream. For the first time in several years (last one involved some *weird* herbal dream-aids). I was Richard Castle (only still physically me) and I was helping Beckett investigate NERV. But before that I was just myself at a brony meet in a park. Don't recall much of the meet but some androgynous attendee said whatever talk about plural realities that shifted me into Castle-me. Castle-me wanted to investigate NERV's giant robots, and there was a wall of toy versions of the pilots with snap-on Eva armor. Beckett pulled Castle-me away (with reluctance on my part) and into a bar where Rei was sitting languidly. When she moved she left acid-trail ghosting bwhind her, and tried to explain in ethereal echo-voice what a L_____ (being which encompassed all possible and current alternates, I don't recall the dreamword) was. She did a "butterfly backflip" through different versions, I excitedly thought I got it, she reached out and stroked my face. . .

    1. @scribus ...unconscious troubles aside, how are you?

      1. @pawnheart Just finished banging out Part 2 (also 0?) of that dream. :p But anyway, uh, I'm tired? On account of freaking out at 0430. heh How've you been, seems it's been a while.

    2. @scribus When she stroked my face, she said in a echo-y voice that "In a (m/b)illion years it *all* makes sense," (a phrase which is sending shivers up my spine as I type it) and her arm extended back into infinity, her face never shrinking but falling behind a mirror veil, her form vibrating through thousands if not more different variiations. She pulled a wicked, possibly-pained/possibly-mad smile when all that was left of her face was teeth and highlights of her facial curves, despite her hand still on my face. Then her hand pulled away and I was in the bar with Beckett, who told me to just "Come on." I protested that there should still be a way to save Rei, and Beckett just said, "Not in this reality," which is when I woke IRL with a gasp. Also, I just remembered, somewhere before the innocuous brony meet the dream was basically a bad stereotype of furry po0n, but that was unrelated (God please let it have been unrelated).

        1. @toksyuryel @thelastgherkin I'm still a bit rattled, myself. Not sure I'm getting back to sleep this morning.

          1. @scribus I don't know if I could after something like that. I've definitely had cases before where a dream was so frightening or uncomfortable to me that I didn't want to go back to sleep out of fear I would go right back into it.

            1. @toksyuryel Last time I fell immediately back asleep *and* right back into it. But at that point it was funny, because @flaredancer (in my dream) looked at me and said "Sorry, did I wake you?" So aside from getting scared awake at that moment the overall dream proved to be kind of funny. But I'm not optimistic about this one. I don't think I want it to make sense. D:

              1. @scribus You have the most interesting dreams.

                1. @toksyuryel I guess I do, at times. I'm really fascinated by them, which may feed into them. Ever since I was in kindergarten or first grade, and I had a recurring dream about every week and a half for what might have been a full year.... Which I'm now realizing may have been one of the very first things I ever tried to write.

              2. @scribus I still love that... Pretty damn freaky dream, though, dude...

                1. @flaredancer Yeah, it was, but nothing compared to the one I just had. Finally willed myself out of bed to write it, and I'm in tears and my hands are shaking. I'm a bit afraid to ask, but have you ever heard "Logatto?" or something like that?

Monday, 25-Jun-12 12:37:58 UTC from web
                  1. @scribus I was talking about this one being damn freaky. Um... Legato is one of the bad guys in Trigun. He works for Knives and believes that the human race is filth and should be exterminated (himself included). He spends his time in the series trying to cause Vash the moste extreme and long lasting pain possible. Logatto, though, no, I can't say I've heard of it. Legato would be the closest.

                    1. @flaredancer Yeah, I'm finding things about dogs and bookbinding. 9_6 Too bad I can't remember what the freaky dream chick actually said. Also, the experience kind of reminded me of a Machine Elf encounter, as I've read.

                      1. @scribus ...I get the impression that most of it went over my head, but there was a clear poetry to that tweet.
