@pony nsfw, dude
-
@pony I love the top comment on that one.
-
@mushi They're in a bath Mushi, holy crap. There's literally nothing NSFW about that.
-
@flamingpandaomg yet
-
@mushi So since there's nothing NSFW about that, don't say it's NSFW then?
-
@flamingpandaomg Suddenly I have the urge to open my window and shout "NSFW" at the couple across the street making out...
-
@flamingpandaomg hum... ok, i remind him to add the tag in 10 minutes
-
@mushi Or.... or you can point out it's NSFW when it's actually NSFW. That's an idea.
-
@flamingpandaomg no, if someone click in that pic in 10 mins it will already be nsfw
-
@mushi The picture's not magically going to become explicit.
-
@flamingpandaomg That is another way of saying "you dirty cloppers can stop watching now, it will not magically become R34 !" #bad-attempt-at-humor
-
@flamingpandaomg Aw, damn...
-
@flamingpandaomg yes. :D Hey you have Twilestia as an avatar. Are you aware that that rocks so hard?
-
@mushi I like to think of it as Japanese.
-
@pony X3 I may be aware.
-
@flamingpandaomg I believe it's my largest paired ponies folder in my archive
-
@pony You keep reminding me that I need to find a better way to organize my pony pictures.
-
@flamingpandaomg \MLP FiM\Pony art\pairs\Princesses\Twilestia contains 220 images. :3 I could send you my directory layout if you like.
-
@pony that'd be swell. right now it's just "\Pony Reactions\Animated or Non-Animated\Affectionate, Cute, Happy, Agreeing, Mad, Sad, Shocked, Silly or Unbothered.
-
@flamingpandaomg You actually have more organization for reaction imagery than I do. Any image can be used as a reaction I figure, so I've ignored that aspect mostly, though I've been meaning to fix that by adding some subdirectories to my main character folders or maybe by creating a new folder organized like yours for images that are especially reactionary.
-
@flamingpandaomg I think that your organization should reflect how you intend to use your !ponyfolder's images so yours may be better than mine for your purposes. I personally keep my browser bookmarks organized for my most commonly used reaction images, though they could certainly stand some reorganization.
-
@flamingpandaomg Here's my !ponyfolder directory structure. It needs some reorganization in the macros, crossovers, and most of all the groups directories. Also, I like to avoid using the same name for a folder twice so that I'm never lost, hence the '+' character in most of my pairs subdirectories, but I haven't adhered too strictly to this. Several more subdirectories will be added as my collection expands also, like in the EqG folder. Lastly, I've been thinking of moving the "macros - [character]" directories to the general (non-character-specific) "macros" folder. http://pastebin.com/CpapayasDCg
-
@pony What would go in a 'macros - [character]' folder? Also the link doesn't work because word filter.
-
@flamingpandaomg !ponyfolder In case you're curious, I have my own system in my head for choosing which folder to place a file when it could go in multiple places. In the "pairs" directory, for example, if there's a pic with both Vinyl and Octi, I place pics according to which character takes my focus most. Lemme try linking the directory structure again: http://pastebin.com/jb6MXDem
-
@pony there are about 400 folders !ponyfolder
-
@pony ........ yeahhh..... I dunno if I'm going to get *that* detailed with it.
-
@flamingpandaomg @sprite heh xD each folder on average contains a bit over 50 files, Some only have 4 and others have over 900 (and need organization obviously). 400 is a good range for me. I started off with only the most applicable and general folders like the mane 6, most secondary, some background characters, and combined group/pairs directory.
-
!ponyfolder @flamingpandaomg I made the macros directories to hold all the motivational poster types and reaction images that have text directed at the viewer (nopony in the image itself). "macro" literally just means large-scale, but it's come to be used on the internet to describe images with big text and subsequently all images with a focus on text.
-
!ponyfolder @flamingpandaomg Part of the reason I wanted macros separate was because I felt they didn't mix well visually or in their general purpose as images.
