Star Wars the thrawn triology ( indeed make a film of this and TV show of the xwing novels ) The mars trilogy ( had a copy gave it away )Doomsday book ( Connie Willis ) ... ... ... I guess that is all the recommendation I can do as far as "books you remember = good, or left an impression" goes

WATCH the movie! ) A Clockwork Orange ( not done either film/book). Starship Troopers ( A. Heinlein, try to het into him maybe one day ) Time Machine ( yep) 20000 Leagues under the sea ( yep ) Mistborn trilogy ( Brandon Sanderson, it's a bit of an oddball IMHO, need to look this one up ) ... Ringworld ( Think I gave up too ) ... I could go on, I lived in a library

@critialcloudkicker We basically had to write a speech for History class. Blah blah blah, I ended up writing the whole thing since she didn't know a whole lot of English, she wanted to feel useful so she offered to type it up. I gave her my only copy of the speech so she could type it up and she told me she isn't going to be here this week so she'd just email it to me.
