@awl Tesla's problem has been part quality. They've had a lot of breakdowns in such a way as pretty much indicates they're using low-quality metals in their construction, no doubt to improve margins. This was one of the revelations of the probes into the "NDA repair deals" fiasco that got looked into some time ago.

Guilty as charged. Seeing money pile up is really bad. Doesn't really make sense. I understand that I can't remember the golden rule about early access: disappear and erase your traces once you've made enough money to start a neet colony. We all work fine.

@awg It's done, not sure how "traditional" it is though. Most aborigins here were quite primitive. Plus there wasn't that much of a need, if you look at the pampa, it was really, really plain with nothing for big-ish prey to hide in. Just hop on a horse and start riding and you'll eventually find something to hunt. As for small prey I think it was mostly caught with traps.

Six years guys. That's a third as much as some of you have been alive, and over half how old some were when they made an account. For me it has been a fourth of a lifetime. Even met my girlfriend here even if her stay was only two days. I might not come around as much nowadays, but this place still means something. Thanks to the people who keep it running, and thanks to those that made it fun. Might broadcast some assorted horses in a while to celebrate.

I think my lithium-ion batteries I bought from China a while ago are busted. They can't hold the charge for two hours. I'll try to charge them longer but I don't have high hopes. They were super cheap. I'm not particularly surprised.

@oracle I become a Java programmer in the automotive industry. It ain't no better. The code is the most horrible I've ever seen. It is so cluttered and unstructured and patched up to hell that it needs a major refactoring. It'd be easier to program it anew from the ground up.
