@zazie Knowing some of the people I know my book's going to end up having several signatures in it even if I try to avoid people. I'm not vindictive or anything though, and will probably be going around to get my book signed regardless. I'd like to end high school with good will and be on my way to the future.

@zazie You're probably just being tongue in cheek but I think if someone says otherwise that's just reflective of their engagement with the franchise. I mean, I agree with you and Rarity, but not on any objective level.

@zazie A continuation of the series would've helped it a lot more, especially in terms of constructing a tighter and more cohesive narrative with better articulated themes, but for what it was I thought Serenity at least worked on that level: A 2 hour film conclusion to an unrealized television series.

@zazie Yeah, I'm just saying that a lot of the negative backlash from devoted fans despite reasonable critical reception was reflective of that.

@zazie The film did pretty much the exact opposite of fanservice in the sense that it gave the fans exactly what they didn't want. That being said, I'm glad the series at least got some sense of closure, as messy as it was.
