  8. @firestormdangerdash Oh, yeah. This is the original one, the one with the hawk is the SPC alt to talk with non-RDN people, and the one with the 2 is a bot that takeshi made in 2016 when he was making markov bots with the accounts of anyone who found it funny. It's basically rdnebooks but using my posts as a source.

  9. @firestormdangerdash Nothing but Mario Maker and RPG Maker lately. Got a novel I need to work on.... I just gotta get out of the workaday tail-chasing, you know?

  10. @firestormdangerdash oh that’s a bot my dude

  11. @firestormdangerdash I'm not sure what you're talking about. Unless someone has been using my name lately, which I doubt, there's only this one and the SPC one. I'm not an instance hopper.

  12. @firestormdangerdash I have only a feeble FDM printer that'll squirt out plastic in rounded layers. And I have currently a spool of black PLA. I'll print a pony for sure but it'll take some post processing to make the surface smooth (acetone or using sand paper and car filler spray). For now I want to print a few more useful things like fitting enclosures for my micro controller projects or a Vive controller holder and charging station.

  17. @firestormdangerdash so what you're saying is the incredibly low ratings has caused the writers to jump seven sharks trying to introduce new gimmicks, gotcha

  18. @firestormdangerdash hey man, just thought you should know, your horse show with Simpsons-level seasonal rot that averages two and a half viewers on the Nielsen scale per week isn’t gonna solve everyone’s real-world tangible issues

  19. @firestormdangerdash I'm fine with all of that, however the amount of new stuff both episodes have to introduce washes down the story and characters that have to be introduced, thus I think it's alright.

  21. @firestormdangerdash You probably liked a post that was originally posted by a Russian propaganda account and reblogged thousands of times. A lot of the offending material was seemingly innocuous but linked back to blogs that were created expressly to divide American voters with race baiting and whatnot.

  26. @firestormdangerdash Nowadays it's super easy to get there simply due to how few people there are around. Whenever I post from there I get a bunch of populars because 1-2 favs are enough.

  27. @firestormdangerdash You could make repeat bots on other sites I guess. I think some already did mirror accounts to get around cases where a site didn't federate with another.

  30. @firestormdangerdash Oh, yeah, you're probably looking at the local copy of the remote profile. The server automatically does it as a way to handle remote posts in an easier way by storing a copy of each post locally instead of pulling them from each server whenever an user wants to see them. That way, the new post is requested from its original server only once and can be viewed indefinitely locally, greatly reducing network load which is the most expensive part of hosting.
