@renovatedkitchen I've also heard that we don't actually need eight straight hours of sleep and that it's perfectly normal to wake up a few times.

@darkw00d Yeah, I didn't sleep much, either. And schools these days tend to load kids down on homework and stuff so it's almost impossible to get the recommended eight hours of sleep

@pinkamenalovesyou A lot of it is, yeah. Though, women tend to have a higher body fat ratio than men.

@pinkamenalovesyou Yeah, I didn't sleep hardly at all while I was in high school. Depression and some other things kept me from sleeping.

@renovatedkitchen Actually, you need more sleep when you're younger than when you're older because your body uses up more energy growing and maturing. Which is also why you need more food than you do when you're older.
