Although I discriminate against sending threats against people, I would like for the record to say that Yamino was the reason there is Derpy drama. IN FACT, ever since she joined the fandom, she has been complaining left and right about how Derpy Hooves did not fit her fanon (ABLEIST SOMEHOW CAME FROM THIS) and got butthurt when Derpy became canon. So, she rounded up her followers that she accumulated over the year to send hate mail to Hasbro/HUB to modify the episode because "it was insensitive". And it worked. I'm not trying to bring back the drama again, but if ANYPONY tries to change pony, WE. MUST. ACT!!! No more standing around and complaining; if someone doesn't like what we like in our fandom and tries to make Hasbro change it, I WANT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU TO STAND IN ARMS AND FIGHT BACK WITH POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT FOR HASBRO TO KEEP THINGS HOW THEY ARE!!! Let's all do our best to protect the freedom of creativity. #publicserviceannouncement

Hasbro did this to be nice to us and now we're acting like we can boss them around, this whole thing is costing them thousands if not more from lawsuits and whatever else is going on. They're gonna think twice before doing something for our fandom next time. And all this discussion about it isn't going to change the outcome, you can say save Derpy or don't it's just a waste of time, Hasbro is gonna make the call, our opinion's will be the last one's they care about given the current treatment we're giving them all because they were nice of us to put Derpy on in the first place.

@matt And now, we know to fight back with VERY POSITIVE reinforcement. It was only negative because we were mad about them taking it away but unsure on how to portray our dislike for it.

@zarkanorf This isn't about praise and hate, people were seriously offended by Derpy, and one needs to listen to all the opinions. And praise isn't exactly the right word for it, we've torn the community apart, their are physical separations among us now, that is not an effect of praise. In the end that feeling of offense becomes way more important than our's of a very mixed variety. If one can fix the offensive part while only incurring a slight sadness in others then that is the obvious choice. Hasbro/Studio B did what they needed to and we need to just get over it and accept it, not say "if we'd only had a few more.....," what's done is done, it's time for this to end.

@zarkanorf C'mon. I thought you were smarter than this! It isn't a democracy. Complainants raised awareness of a potential issue, which legal determined had merit, then acted upon. Unless you're seriously advocating that we should actively silence people with dissenting opinions, in which case that's just terrifying.

Looks like it's possible that the site problems were due to us exceeding the daily quota for the geolocation service we used. Or a DoS attack. Or both! 9.6

@colfax I disabled the geolocation plugin for now. Let's see if it helps. If so, I can probably implement a local geolocation proxy. That'd cut down on the number of requests we send.
