!atlantabronies Hello all! We over at the "Canterlanta" Facebook group(http://www.facebook.com/groups/canterlanta/) are setting up a bookclub of sorts for the reading of FanFics from this fandom. We are currently in the planning stages. We will have Live Readings and discussions of the fics we read through Skype group calls. We are also in the process of setting up a Minecraft server so folks have a place to congrigate while the Readings/Discussions happen. In your Skype add request please be sure to make a note that you are interested in joining the group. We will be doing Smaller/one-shot fics as well as Larger/Multi-chapter ones. Heck, I actually live about 50miles outside of Atlanta myself, lol. Anyone who wants to be there is more than welcome. I'll get back to you all on a time it will start. Gotta work out mileage, Traffic, Etc. from my house to the mall during the AM on a Saturday.

@nakkecil22 !atlantabronies Cool, I may be able to get the 25th off, but my boss doesn't really let me get Fridays cause I am the only one he can count on for the night shift on those days. I MIGHT be able to get it but is unlikely due to taking Friday the 4th for my mom's birthday. I'll try fo it and see what goes. We still have plenty of time to play around with the date.

!atlantabronies Okay, so I'm thinking: I want to try to get a meetup setup at the Mall of Georgia sometime during may, Sometime around the 23rd. Who would be up for it? We could browse the mall, raid the Toys'R'Us across the way, and grab some food either at the mall food court or one of the nicer surrounding restaurants. Loose date of the 23rd, I can work the date around the schedules of people who want to come so let me know! Hope to see a good few Bronies there ^_^.

!atlantabronies So, who among you would be up for a meetup somewhere in the area of Snellville/Stone Mountain? We can discuss times/locations little by little, just trying to see how many people would be willing to make the trek. Also, I am currently in talks with the manager of the Centerville Wal-Mart to potentially do a feature on blind bag ponies. But she need to see numbers. Numbers of people not just willing to buy a few, but those willing to by whole boxes in order to even consider doing it. So i ask: How many of you can/are willing to make that trip for the blind bags? !atlantabronies Well the con was indeed fun, met alot of bronies in passing. Even more through the meetups. Sorry to anypony who got bored at mine, was the first time I have ever set anything like that up, but the experience has taught me a good bit so hopefully the one I set up for next year's AWA will be better. ^_^

!atlantabronies Well being that tsukisama87 will have his camera at the con: ATTENTION ALL ATLANTA AREA BRONIES ATTENDING "ANIME WEEKEND ATLANTA", There will be a meet/greet FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 30th(the first day of the con) in the atrium area of the "Renaissance Waverly Hotel" @ Approx. 12:00 Noon, under the elevators. Assuming there are not a crap-ton of folks already gathered there. In the event that the spot is already taken or the time changes I will update with the pertinent information here on the group. Just for sanity's sake lest get an unofficial headcount thingy, reply to this post if you think you'll make it.

!atlantabronies @nakedpops On second thought I'm just sorta thinking of saying "Let's meet up in the atrium area of the Waverly under the elevators @ noon on Friday." If I set that time/place would that be cool with everypony? I'm not really good with this sort of thing tho, so all I have the ability to set up is a meet/greet. If anypony has the skills/know-how/crowd control abilities to set up something more elaborate, please feel free to step in anytime ^_^. Also, I will most likely not have a video/photo camera, so if this does get set up can anypony document it for history? lol.

Then Thursday night I would post a time/place for us to meet up here on the RDnet group. If there are enough ponies interested then I will not mind taking the reigns and doing that, you guys just let me know if you are interested ^_^.

!atlantabronies So it is getting to be about that time so I'm wondering, is anypony gonna try to set up a meeting time/place at Anime Weekend Atlanta? I know tsukisama87 was talking about trying to get a table at the "Super Happy Fun Sale", but is anypony else going/planning anything? If possible I'd at least like to try to do a simple meet & greet. I can try to set it up, but everything would be up in the air really 'till I got my program pook Thursday night and planned out my weekend >.<.
