!atlantabronies Hello all! We over at the "Canterlanta" Facebook group(http://www.facebook.com/groups/canterlanta/) are setting up a bookclub of sorts for the reading of FanFics from this fandom. We are currently in the planning stages. We will have Live Readings and discussions of the fics we read through Skype group calls. We are also in the process of setting up a Minecraft server so folks have a place to congrigate while the Readings/Discussions happen. @nakkecil22 !atlantabronies Cool, I may be able to get the 25th off, but my boss doesn't really let me get Fridays cause I am the only one he can count on for the night shift on those days. I MIGHT be able to get it but is unlikely due to taking Friday the 4th for my mom's birthday. I'll try fo it and see what goes. We still have plenty of time to play around with the date.

!atlantabronies Okay, so I'm thinking: I want to try to get a meetup setup at the Mall of Georgia sometime during may, Sometime around the 23rd. Who would be up for it? We could browse the mall, raid the Toys'R'Us across the way, and grab some food either at the mall food court or one of the nicer surrounding restaurants. Loose date of the 23rd, I can work the date around the schedules of people who want to come so let me know! Hope to see a good few Bronies there ^_^.

@drwhoofpony I am working on it the problem is that the manager needs to see numbers to justify ordering a bunch of boxes. She might not do it for us at all, but with a high number of people saying they will buy a box it might convince her. However, I only have like 3 people who have said yes they would buy a whole box, and 3 boxes does not a whole end-cap make. So short answer, I am working on it, but without more people with definite "Yes I will buy a whole box" answers, it won't happen. Again I stress this is not a sure thing, the numbers(If we get them) may convince her. As for price, the whole box would run $47-$50 like normal. We aren't trying to get them at a discount, we are just trying to make sure everyone involved can get a full set. All I can say is tell the other local bronies you know to give me a definite yes answer on here and we'll work from there(I plan to show her all the answers through my Laptop when/if I meet with her). I hope that helps clear it up a bit. ^_^

@almostromantic I thought about the park. The idea is still on the table, but I am not particularity familiar with the restaurants in that area and wasn't sure if folks would want to make the drive from the park to 124 or The Avenue at Webb Ginn just to eat. If you know any good places near the park though I'm completely open to suggestions. I was also thinking hit Wal-Mart or Target as part of the outing. Try to let everyone pickup some blind bags and/or other pony swag if they want.

@shogun So far you and one other on here, plus me and my other friends who live in the area who are bronies. So maybe about 5-6 people for the meetup, but only about 2-3 for the blind bags, and the manager of the wal-mart would need more than that to justify a feature on them. WE can always just set up a meetup though and just hang and stuff. I'll see what days I and my friends have free and see what we can set up. Would the Steak N' Shake on 124 or the restaurants at The Avenue at Webb Ginn be too far of a drive for you?

!atlantabronies So, who among you would be up for a meetup somewhere in the area of Snellville/Stone Mountain? We can discuss times/locations little by little, just trying to see how many people would be willing to make the trek. Also, I am currently in talks with the manager of the Centerville Wal-Mart to potentially do a feature on blind bag ponies. But she need to see numbers. Numbers of people not just willing to buy a few, but those willing to by whole boxes in order to even consider doing it. So i ask: How many of you can/are willing to make that trip for the blind bags? !atlantabronies Well the con was indeed fun, met alot of bronies in passing. Even more through the meetups. Sorry to anypony who got bored at mine, was the first time I have ever set anything like that up, but the experience has taught me a good bit so hopefully the one I set up for next year's AWA will be better. ^_^
