@zarkanorf !hug It really sucks being picked on/teased, and it's difficult to forget habits one may have picked up as a result. For example, I was at Anime Central over the weekend and a close friend of mine grabbed my convention guide to check out the list of panels. Since I've so strongly associated the "grab something from me without asking" action with "I'm taking something of yours to mess with you," I immediately got upset about it. But he's a very intelligent person and quickly realized what had happened, so it all worked out.

@gear Thank you so much, especially for the feedback! I tried really hard to make sure the clips fit the actual context of the lyrics, even though it took me much longer to finish as a result. There are definitely a few spots where the lip-syncing isn't perfect, but after putting so much time into that video I had to accept some things not being 100% as perfect as I'd like and just get it finalized before I went nuts and got sick of the song. XD I really appreciate you taking the time to review my PMV, and I'm glad you liked it! !hug

@delc17 I love how hug-filled it is here! I wasn't even expecting any replies to my original post, but I needed to get what had happened off my chest and this seemed like the most understanding place. I have a feel people on Facebook would just have been confused. XD

@zarkanorf One person in the room asked which video was mine, but didn't say anything beyond that. Nopony else even said a word about what was going on. I stayed for another ~10 minutes to see if maybe the mod was just busy with other things and perhaps wanted some time to type out a nice critique, but then he just started chatting with others in the room. I'm sure I'm just overreacting, since it really isn't a big deal. I just have a history of being teased and ignored by classmates that lasted from grade 1 to grade 7, and those feelings get brought back up when a similar situation arises. But I really do appreciate that you and others on here are taking an interest in what happened. !hug

@delc17 Thank you so much! I had the same thought in my head as this was going on, but none of the 20+ others in the room seemed to care that a mod was acting so, well, un-pony. I'm quick to think that something is my fault, so I thought maybe I had accidentally annoyed everyone in the room even though I hadn't done anything. I'm glad to see somepony still has such a great attitude about friendship and kindness. !hug

Was just in synchtube, casually chatting and whatnot. A video ended, and I offered up my PMV as a suggestion amongst the 4 or 5 being offered by others. The moderator told me not to bother posting it again because he wouldn't play it. He said he watched it earlier and "didn't like it." I asked him what he didn't like about it, as it is the only PMV/AMV I've ever made and there are probably a lot of things I need to improve on, but he simply ignored me from that point forward. After the stressful weekend I just had and spending half of today in a hospital bed, it sucks to be told that something I made is crap and can't be shown to anyone else. Not sure what to do for the rest of the night, but I'm too awake to sleep. #feelsbadpony

Met some awesome bronies at Anime Central in Chicago! Unfortunately, I got a bit busy and didn't have a chance to organize or find any sort of meet-up.
