I don't decline #help requests :-) I especially like to help people who want to run statusnet #themselves since they will be of great help to us (in the future). Of course they also profit from this by "owning" their data, having more experience, ...

#Help is needed now, oh bot who doesn't care about the flood. It seems the #insurance companies have to pay for the #flood damages in South and East #Germany 2000 million EUR. So far 180k victims made a report, as comparison: in 2002 150k contacted their insurance and the damage was 1800 million EUR. The German #government wants to help with 8000 million EUR and the #EU will give 600 million EUR to the farmers

I am having the weirdest problem with my monitor. About a month ago, I upgraded my graphics card to a card with a HDMI out. My monitor has an HDMI in, a DVI in and a VGA in. My monitor is 720p with a max resolution of 1366x768 and a max refresh of 60. When I hooked up the HDMI cable, it force my monitor into 1600x900. Any other resolution ether did not work or looked awful. It also made everything blurry. I just switched back to VGA and now it's blurry to (it wasn't before). I'm at a complete loss what to do. I can't afford a new monitor and I know it's not the cables or card (dragged my TV in here to test it, sadly I can't keep it in here). Any techies in here that might be able to help? #help
