Some atheists phrase it like that in layman's terms, but in reality atheism is simply the default position of a lack of belief/acceptance in a claim of religious proportions. When someone tells me atheism is a religion, it's like they're saying that not collecting stamps would be a hobby.

#RDNStream #s1e18 @snowcone technically all fanart is illegal, as well as all fanwork in general that uses/imitates the likenesses of any IPs or trademarked properties. It's just most companies choose to focus their legal efforts on anything that competes in the intellectual space and/or affects the image or public perception of said IP/trademark(s). A lot of kids try to shout "pardoy!" and think that saves their patoodie, but parody has to specifically comment on the original IP, like satire for example. And even then you can't just use the exact likenesses and/or names.
