So Apple announced the iPhone 4S at their keynote tonight? I was expecting it to be called the iPhone 5, but I doubt I'll buy either phone anyway. I was hoping Apple might have said something on the next generation iPod Touch, the one Apple product I would even CONSIDER buying. !techponies

Dissapointed, just as I'm starting to get interested in the "Amazon Kindle Fire" tablet, I discover it's for Americans only =/ !AndroidBronies !TechPonies

If I may ask, why is the Amazon Kindle Fire tablet getting so much hype? Are there not other 7" Android tablets on the market? !AndroidBronies !TechPonies

God damn it Firefox I am so sick of your papayas. You do NOT need to increment the full version number for every minor addon-breaking patch! !techponies

Ah, counted my chickens before the eggs had hatched, and just as I posted that my phone was connected via celluar data. !techponies

Why is it that at night my wifi keeps cutting out and I end up on celluar data, but during the day it stays connected consistently? (At least my phone) !techponies

!techponies Still can't get Puredyne GNU/Linux to work for me. Tried switching USB drives, tried installing via virtual machine, tried burning DVDs, tried 32- and 64-bit architectures. No luck. Tried editing the GRUB configs, nothing. Tried threats, bribes, and casual indifference. Nothing. Between this and LXDE being buggy, I'm about to just use Ubuntu Studio - even though they dropped the real-time kernel.

Why must ever HD video converter have a paid for version and the free versions either put a watermark on the video or only convert a few minutes of it :/ !techponies

Alright, help needed ASAP, what video editing software can take 3GPP files, or what is a good HD video converter? Need it for the vlog. !techponies

Apple filing lawsuits against Samsung in France...should this even make the news anymore? Seriously, Apple's attempts to stop their competition (the Galaxy SII is the phone they seem to target specifically) are starting to leave a rather foul taste in my mouth =/ !techponies

!techponies - Trying Puredyne in a virtual machine now. Getting everso sick and damn tired of this not working. And, go or no go, I think I'll take a nap after this. Only really got about an hour (if I'm optimistic) before work last night.

!techponies - Taking a second stab at Puredyne GNU/Linux. This time, the i386 DVD rather than the amd64 DVD. Here's hoping. #speakgeek

!techponies - My first attempt with Puredyne GNU/Linux on a USB drive has failed. Claims I "need to load the kernel first," which I kinda know and am not sure why it's not doing that. Anyway, I'll try again maybe tomorrow. I totally desire a multimedia distro, but I don't see needing it all day every day.

!techponies - I'm not thoroughly pleased with Lubuntu / LXDE. It's alright, but quirky. Next up, Ubuntu Studio (and with that, back to Gnome2). Then, some kernel jiggery-pokery.

@ceruleanspark But won't a "flash" if inspiration be a bit useless with an iOS device? :P *shot* #BadJoke !techponies

...You have got to be kidding me. We get the Phillips Windows 7 PC (again, XP machine originally, it's not new) set up...and it says there's no internet connection >< It can't be the router or connection in general since my phone and Xbox 360 are connected just fine ,it's got to be the bloody ethernet at the back. Why oh WHY must it be so hard to access the back of my PC in this room? -__- !techponies

Mum and I are now setting up the old Phillips Windows 7 PC (originally had XP on it) since the Advent one with Vista busted still. !techponies

Getting pretty worried and even a little frustrated round about now, our router was totally buggered so a fay or two ago my mum bought a new one for 30 quid, it was easy as hell to set up (especially when compared to previous routers we've had over the years) and was wrking great, but all of a sudden it's started cutting out: / Hope it's not a sign of things to come, I mean I do have mobile internet to fall back on, but the wifi is so much faster and we need it for devices like the laptop. I'm gonna head to bed for nowthough, hope the wifi is working better in the morning, especially since that router is only a day or 2 old. Anyways, G'night world! ^^ !techponies

Decided to be hopeful and try turning on the Advent Windows Vista desktop...and still nothing. Will not go past the "Advent" boot up screen. !techponies
