@thismightbeauser One idea is to allow users over a certain age (maybe three weeks) to vote to hide users under a certain age (maybe one week). Three or so votes wins.

@thismightbeauser I know. ChromeOS lacks the customization and the hardware itself is too expensive for what it's worth. My mother doesn't need to configure it, I need it whenever there is a problem.

@thismightbeauser I'll never buy a chromebook. They have the worst price-value proposition in my opinion. I'd rather install any Linux distro and get a similar end-user experience.

@thismightbeauser Yeah, I'm not sure what they were going for exactly. It can work in an ultrawide screen, but you'd likely have to mess with it with stylish or some other browser extension to make it really good. I think pleroma does it right with a wide main timeline centered on the screen, and a smaller notifications timeline on the side.

@thismightbeauser Doesn't matter. There is shock and awe. Does not matter if they even raise concerns you agree with or not. I am just annoyed that it makes a large enough stink that I hear the screeching harpies on both sides of the arguement and it makes me sigh.

@thismightbeauser Dito. Though with the added effect of also becoming mindful of the path I walk in life. Together with the realization that the world is changing around me as I am changing. Are things changing for the better ? Arguably so, both yes and no.
With the world in a constant state of flux that it is. Do you really think my weirness stands out or is noticed at all ? Yesterday I found out that my weirdness was eclypsed by child drag for as far as people's shock and awe goes. I mean I was litterally talking about buying and assembling a 3D printer so I could print ponies when someone went on a tangent about 'this shocking development, how could parrents allow their child to do this, bad taste, rabble rabble'. -

Talks like a Pokemon and is generally completely inept. Applejack: The element of -loyalty- " *honesty* " Pinkie Pie: Secretly a witch trying to resurrect her parents. Loves to sing about her tragic childhood as an orphan to inappropriately gleeful tunes. Rarity: Loves giant hats. Sweetie Belle: Secretly a robot. Talks like a robot and is not waterproof, but no one seems to notice. Spike: The punching bag. Gets injured and made fun of constantly. Princess Molestia: Spirit name Luna. Talks in a thick accent. Tries too hard to be liked and comes across as weirder than Twilight. Princess Celestia: Voiced by a dude. Secretly hates Twilight and sends her on nonsense missions.
