@mrmattimation I forced some poor kids in china to build one for me, you should do the same...

My friends told me if I came back from this deployment a virgin they'd think I was gay... Now I'm coming back as a vaper... #storyofmylife

Am I a man that defines the corporate ethos? Or does the corporate ethos define me? http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/862725

@awl Same here. It may suck now but I've done things nobody else could imagine doing... Made some really good friends and shared good times and bad times with them but we laugh at both of them either way.
-
@awl Also I'm trusting you to not use the information I share here to start a war with America pl0x. I'd get in so much trouble.
-
@awl I just want to go out of the way to say I absolutely love Russians. I'm trying to learn Russian myself. How was your time in the Army?
-
@awl NBC training goes once every two years but they normally send us out before that a lot just cuz we can. What branch were you?
-
@awl Everyone has to qualify on the rifle range once a year. Depending on your score you get one of three qualifications: Expert being the highest (me just to brag a bit), Sharpshooter, and Marksman which is the lowest. If you fail you are unqualified and have to try again. Same standards apply for pistol qual only certain Marines are required to qual with that. There are a number of different combat skill that need to be tested with varying intervals in which they need to be tested such as gas chamber and swimming which are every two years but we do them more often because we have nothing better to do. Most combat related skills are tested yearly.
-
@deadshot If you know how to load rounds into a mag the right way you're already better than 1/4 of us. I've seen officers load pistol mags backwards... It's embarrassing.
-
@deadshot I like them better anyways, yes. But I'm still waiting for the day Desert Eagles become standard issue. Or at least let me bring my own with me...
-
@deadshot I don't care. The Marine Corps survives off of the Army's garbage. Basically since the Corps is a department of the Navy all of our funds are basically leftover funds from the actual Navy meaning we get significantly less funds than the other departments. So we use our funds to buy the Army's used gear (ex. Rifles, tanks, pistols, aircraft, machine guns). That means I don't care what the Army gets because the Marine Corps is still going to be stuck with Bretta M9's until the Army is done with their P320's and pass them to us.
-
You and the rest of America who pays taxes are paying me $2,000 for me to sit around doing this all day. Know you know where all of your money is going. Any more questions? http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/862718
-
@awl Unfortunately I'm a POG so we don't get those chances. WW3 would pop off and we still be sitting around with our thumbs up our buttholes wondering why this damn oversized refrigerator wont run.
-
@deadshot This is where you say: "So that's where my tax money goes." like the rest of my friends.
-
@deadshot Most definitely. I'm not gunna do squat the rest of my time. Once you get to that point in the unit I'm with all you really have to do is teach the next group of guys coming in how to take your place.
-
@deadshot Thanks. Less than a year left after this deployment I'm on rn.

@deadshot 2.5

@deadshot USMC

@deadshot I told myself I'd never smoke, I told myself I'd never drink and the military pushed me to do both. It changes a man both for the better and for the worse. Overall you probably made the better decision here.
-
@deadshot Probably overall a wise decision. There is a lot of goofy things that happen in the military. But I will admit it does set you up for the world. If you can do it yourself you're already better than all of us. Me included and I envy that. At this point the only reason I'd reenlist is if I got EOD because then at least I have the chance of blowing up and ending it all.
-
@deadshot Si, senor.

@deadshot High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, or as the civis call it, a HUMVEE. It almost lit on fire because 1: HMMMWVs are pieces of crap and 2: I left the Emergency brake on and traveled down the road "trying" to go 45 but only going thirty and wondering why my RPMs were so high and I wasn't going anywhere. That's when I smelled something burning and noticed.
-
@deadshot Almost lit a HMMWV on fire today. That's something...
-
Roommate: You want to know why my clothes don't smell? Me: Because you put them in a trash bag. Also me: You want to know why half of your clothes aren't here? **NOTE: At the beginning of this deployment I threw out his entire laundry bag full of clothes because he left them in a trash bag in the middle of the floor. It looked like trash.**

So some grunts out here thought you refuel generators by lifting up the exhaust cover and pouring gas down the pipe. Good to know our lives are in good hands...
