  1. !yorkshirebronies Hello all, it has been way too long I posted something here. And well, some things happened here: after 3 years of job applications I finally got a job, in Norfolk. So soon I'll have to leave these rolling hills and my friends (both those on four hooves and those on two feet) to start a new life. I never like to say goodbye, so I won't. After all, I can always come back oop north to visit. And knowing that I am going to work with ponies, horses, and donkeys is something to look forward to.

  2. !yorkshirebronies After 2 months I decided to leave UK of Equestria forum, for which I subscribed to get info on meets. (This is also why I mention my departure from UKoE here). The reason? A while ago an image I posted there (my desktop) got deleted because of it's content. I didn't mind it got deleted, but I felt I was unable of obtaining better or more detailed guidelines on which images are considered ok to post. Earlier this week one of my posts was deleted because people might interpret the content in an inappropriate way. I have been advised to bear in mind how people might interpret my writing. Unfortunately, I cannot take into consideration all interpretations and associations people might get from my posts. These two incidents made me realise my style doesn't fit in with UKoE, and it made me feel not welcome. It hurts to say goodbye to UKoE, but I simply don't dare to post anything anymore. Whenever there are meets, I guess I have to check it out here instead.

  3. !yorkshirebronies @trister With RDN you mean the network or the forum? (http://forums.rainbowdash.com/index.php) because on that forum there hasn't been a notification whatsoever... Ah well, I guess that's the price I'm paying for being one of the marginal people instead of part of the incrowd :p

  4. !yorkshirebronies Can somebody else please explain to me when it was decided that meetup suggestions were taken away from RDN Forum to UKoE? Of course it wasn't a big deal for me to create an account with UKoE, but nevertheless it might be worthwhile to mention it on RDN Forum that for meetup discussions that forum apparently has been abandoned in favour of UKoE.....

  5. !yorkshirebronies Apologies for not being there today. Over the last couple of weeks I haven't seen any notification of this meet coming up, and well.... I should check here more often. Anyway, even if I had known I don't know whether I would have made it. I'm busy with the preparation of what most likely will be my farewell to academia for an undefined period of time.

  6. !yorkshirebronies Have fun tomorrow! I won't be there because I'll be exploring my musical talents: Cello Day. I hope for Octavia to be there too.... :-)

  7. !yorkshirebronies @klayking Sorry, but I cannot make it the 31st of March. One of my orchestra members moved heaven and earth to get me a discount on participating in a Cello Day here in Sheffield. Hopefully Octavia will give a workshop too. Anyway, have fun in Leeds :-)

  8. !yorkshirebronies Thanks for uploading all pictures. Haven't given myself yet to check out the blind bags at my Morrisons, but hope to do so somewhere later this week.

  9. !yorkshirebronies @klayking Most restaurants have at least 2 or 3 veggie options, and that's enough for me. Beside, it's lunch, so a salad might serve this veggie pony well too. Btw, am I the only one here who likes the taste of celery? :-p

  10. !yorkshirebronies @klayking So I managed to rearrange my working days to get the 28th off. In other words: I'll be there. About the food: Nandos sounds good to me, as long as they have anything without meat or fish. Eeyup, one vegetarian unicorn here. And if not, I'll just stick to the salads and appetizers. Or should I bring my own carrots, celery, oaties and apples? :-)
