  2. @zennx Cool! Who else but Zoidberg! So far (currently level 4 D&D 5th edition) we had a gay Minotaur captain, a mafia Beholder running an orphranage as a frontbusiness, an illegal animal pit-fighting arena, gay elves running a Sigfried & Roy magic show, a Wizard creating a mechanical computer, and a joke-hoarding copper dragon.

  16. @zennx There's also the fact that removing the fuses will open doors on ships, when in reality all that does is shutting down the circuit in the state it is at the moment (removing power from the doors) and that the baddies' main weapon apparently used the entire energy of a start to blow up a planet, which as I explained a few weeks ago, is like using a car battery to power a laser pointer. Not to mention that'd ruin the planet's orbit AND freeze everything on it to death, and probably cause a black hole in the middle of it when sucking up the star due to compressing that mass into such a small space. The movie is pretty damn stupid as a sci-fi movie, you have to look at it as an action one.

  27. @zennx I dn't see words as just things that can happen, if you want someone happy, you need to make as may choices toward bfrieding them and choices benefiting them so that they may be more likely to make a better choice later, find something more better, and avoid such things as unhappiness. (Or, in a more selfish context, preventing them from leaving you by making them happy ETC.)

  28. @zennx That isn't exactly waht entropyis. But, I guess so? It's just hard to look at a problem or event and being presented a few highly successful choices and some that may be crucial yet may never work considering the previous choices you made. It's mor elike, every choice you make changes the possible utcome of a choice you need to make later in life and changes thelikely hood of things getting better in different ways.

  29. @zennx See, that's a perfect example of why it is so bad. That kid put real effort into it and showed some real talent and promise, just to be ignored so others aren't hurt. The only thing you can get from doing that is discouraging the ones that can get anything good done from trying at all, and giving the ones who are devoid of ability in the are a sense of entitlement and the idea that they're good at it, instead of showing them they aren't so they either learn or look for a field they're good at.
