  1. @adiwan One's a disposable footsoldier drone with barely any character development... and the other's a Decepticon.

  3. @narwhal @nerthos @adiwan It's funny because they implemented it years ago after a social panic about people using smartphones to take pictures secretly in changing rooms.

  5. @adiwan I meant the shutter sound. @narwhal I've found an app that does it automatically, but it's highly impractical. I suppose it's due to all the imbeciles that would otherwise take pics of others without their consent, but the solution to that is not crippling functionality.

  7. @adiwan I am not talking about interpreting. I am talking about reading out loud. It has bound to be better than watching whichever movie the teacher fancies that day.

  8. @adiwan ... That is even less educational than handing out 1984 to everyone and letting each student read a page, and rate them on howmuch they need to work on reading out loud.

  9. @adiwan I start to think that more and more everyday I have to go there. I wonder howlong it will take before I start to resent it.

  14. @adiwan I still want a computer like that though. I've been trying without success to build one out of a raspberry pi

  15. @adiwan I remember having that OQO UMPC in my hands at the ceBit expo. That thing was awkward to hold in the hands, the keyboard was not very responsive and neither the touchscreen (it was a resistive touchscreen).

  16. @adiwan A lot of the reviews of it suggest it was a nightmare to cool effectively, because the motherboard was upside down by design.

  23. @adiwan I love it normally, but today I have a headache of horse-caliber pain. Yesterday too BTW, or I would have hung up a piece of paper in the lounge on how the local supermarket would be gone in less than a month due to some april-fools semi-believable BS.

  26. @adiwan It's probably a wrong decision to go onto MANY internet pages on April Fools. That you even dared to go to anything tumbler related probably makes you a braver man than I am. ... Then again "Until you're ready to be foolish, you'll never have the opportunity to become great" ( some quote from someone ) comes to mind...

Yeah, still not going to Tumbler

  29. It was a first-weekend hit, sure. I think this coming weekend will make-or-break it from a financial standpoint. It's taken in about $420 million worldwide, but Warner's said that production costs are in the neighborhood of $750 million.

I think Warner is really worried. A bad second weekend and poor bluray sales could cripple the Justice League movie franchise before it even starts.
