Probably Stuck Between Dimensions
(Yes, I know this place is back. No, I don't plan on returning; I just don't fit in with the whole "4chan vibe", as I heard it described recently. Anyway, if anyone wants to keep in touch, catch TryshaGray on Twitter. Otherwise, have fun, and keep it pony.)
Not all ponies miss out on all that Princess Luna has put together for her show after she brings out the moon! Me? I do some of my best work and spell-weaving when the stars come out. Besides, I tend to be the sort to keep to myself, a lot of the time. Lately, I've found I'm a lot more of a "Twilight Sparkle" person, though some still say I have a very "Fluttershy" personality, right down to being more likely to talk to your critter companions than you, at first. It takes me a little while, but if I don't get too badly spooked, I'll open up. And if you see me suddenly pop out of a moon portal, or catch my eye hovering in the sky as I try to find someone or something I've lost again . . . sorry about that. I really try not to startle people too much with this stuff. It's just so cool, though!

@tenmihara Eep! Did you not get her change-of-address card? She doesn't live there any more . . .
-
@tigerdusk Oh, yes, definitely! Always have been. :)
-
@leonkfox But I like "The Little Mermaid", even though it has little to nothing to do with the original book, so yay to all of them! :D
-
@shalabajza Cool, that's great that you're learning it. :) I'm all right with reading and writing it. Speaking it? Not so much. Spoken languages have always vexed me. As for typing it, there are a few good on-screen virtual keyboards floating around. (http://www.softcorporation.com/products/cyrillic/ is a good one.) Slow, but functional.

@princezach121k Ahhh. Basically it's, "Victory of the People! The world's first Soviet artificial Earth satellite!"
-
@princezach121k Не говорят по-русски?

@princezach121k Победа народа! Первый в мире Советский искусственный спутник земли!
-
@ceruleanspark Yay, that does sound fun! Very good to hear. :)
-
@ceruleanspark Thank goodness.
-
@ceruleanspark Eep! I missed your birthday? Well, a belated Happy Birthday to you! Sounds like it was at least a profitable one. :) I hope that it was a fun one, too.
-
@rotation Ha! Love it! I'll have to remember that one. :)
-
@rotation Ha! No, can't say that I am. I know a couple, though, and know of their frustration.
-
@ceruleanspark And, by the way, you would know better than any audio expert what sounds good to your ears. :) That's the important thing.
-
@rotation Oh, just another frustrating day of having ultimate responsibility for two teams, but no authority, and any decisions that I make constantly overturned. Cutie Mark Crusaders Team Managers are GO. Pfffffft ...
-
@ceruleanspark Aw, good night and pleasant dreams. :)
-
*GASP!* Yay for the new RDN logo! Spike-as-Rainbow Dash is totally win. :D (And don't expect much sense from me; it's not being a good day.)
-
@ceruleanspark Ohhh, those do sound nice. :) Glad you were able to get a better pair of headphones, there! :)
-
@mushi Oh, boy, do I know that one. Very cute! :)

@princezach121k Thought you might be interested in this, if you haven't seen it already: http://saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/education/scientistforaday10thedition/ Cutie Mark Crusaders Cassini Scientists are GO! Yay! :)
-
@leonkfox Yay, that's REALLY glad to hear, then! And sounds like the wedding actually went well, so I'm glad to hear that you're having a good weekend after all, there. :)
-
@leonkfox That's about how much I paid for mine as well ($45.99 US, which is right around £30, give or take). Definitely worth it!
-
@gangstashy I think that I got mine right after they started selling them with Android 2.1 already installed, so I never saw how it was before then. Mine seems to run fine, though, especially after I got some help in "rooting" it and removing most of the Sprint programs. Admittedly, it does need some maintenance every few months to keep working that way (running a "cache clean" program, and backing up my text messages and call logs so I can clear them when they get too big).
-
@leonkfox EEK! I hope that getting some rest on the trip out is an option! If not, quad-shot mochas are so going to be your friends this weekend.
-
@leonkfox I got mine for a great price (at the time) on NewEgg, but, yes, still rather pricey. And now I'm seeing them show up for less rather commonly, so I feel a little silly now. But, hey, it's done great for me, and having those episodes handy has been quite nice for unwinding on lunch breaks on particularly stressful days, so I can't complain.:) As for that other bit, duly noted, and thank you for letting me know. :)
-
@leonkfox Hee! Oh, yes, definitely. :) Well, that 32GB should last you a good long time, then, sounds like! three or four more seasons, at least. ;)
-
@leonkfox Most of it is my music, though a fair chunk of it is MLP episodes (about 3GB total after resizing them for the smaller screen with Handbrake).
-
@leonkfox Yes, it's an HTC. Looking online, it looks like it's called the G2 Touch in the UK. Basically the same, with a different case. As for 32GB, yes, you'd think that would be a ridiculous amount of storage for a cell phone. Considering mine is already half-full, though, after coming about 100MB shy of filling my previous ridiculous-amount-of-storage-for-a-cell-phone 16GB, though . . .
-
@leonkfox Wouldn't that be something? 64GB+ on your phone. Pretty amazing. Even more amazing is that, by then, we'd probably be able to fill it with ease! But, yes, I can technically get an upgrade now, but I'm still reasonably happy with my Hero, so I'll wait until the two-year contract is up around April of next year. If not longer. I used to catch a lot of grief for holding on to this really old, trusty Qualcomm-Kyocera phone for forever. It worked great, though, so I never saw a need to upgrade until it finally started to croak on me. May very well happen with this phone, too.

@frostflow Agreed, though, frankly, I think @princessfluttershy321 is just as guilty, here.
