that's all i had to say really. i've been thinking about this tragedy all day and maybe you should realize that tons of people are upset because this was an attack on the lgbt community. if you're not a part of it then of course you wouldn't care

@blackgaynerd Certainly we're one of the older (if not the oldest) surviving instances. Following the death of Identi.ca and the temporary demise of Fragdev (who I think are back now?) we were the largest, but I suspect Quitter is the current largest instance.

I went onto isidewith.com to see which US candidate I agree with most. Sanders is a 97% match, Stein and Clinton are both 94%, Johnson is 69% and Trump is 21%.
I bring this up because after what happened over here, I've become very averse to apolitical, defeatist attitudes. I understand being disenfranchised and thinking your vote won't matter but it's simply not the way to be when you have a voice. If there's a chance that you might make a difference for the better, please go out on a limb and make that fraction of a difference. Vote if you can. If you can't, get informed, get angry if you think you should. You owe it to yourself. -
