People rib me for not acting like a proper adult but I'm not the person in my house who leaves food on the counter unpackaged when there are flies all over the place--I put the cheese grater in the dishwasher if only to take it out and use it again 20 minutes later. Furthermore I am definitely not the one in my house who uses my razor without asking and leaves it in the shower without even cleaning it. I don't know WHO that was and I'd rather not find out

I like "The Next Doctor", but it's a bit of a mess. Not only does Russell T Davies think that there was a better ending out there where Miss Hartigan redeemed herself by destroying the CyberKing without the messy introduction of a Dalek ex Machina, but the Cyber Shades remain undeveloped for something that could have been a cool monster, and the perfect opportunity to turn Jackson into the hero he could be - the rescue of young Frederick - is taken by the Doctor swashbuckling his way up a rope because he's perfect and can do no wrong. If Jackson had done that, and suggested the hot air balloon to the Doctor instead of moping around, this episode would be an A- at worst.

According to Quartz, people who live in Hong Kong were displeased upon learning that the name of the original 151 Pokémon would be translated into Mandarin instead of the more largely spoken Cantonese. As a result, the new name for Pikachu reads like "Pei-kaa-jau" in Cantonese, which sounds much different from the original translation, "Bei-kaa-chyu."
To demonstrate to Nintendo just how upset they are with the name change, people in Hong Kong have started protesting in the streets, demanding that the company use a Cantonese translation for the people who live in the city. Been trying out Action Quake 2 for the first time. Should be called Action Rocket Arena. I'm not a huge fan of RA/CA, but AQ2 is better because no rocket launcher means no rocket jump without self-damage.

That scene in Banjo-Kazooie where Kazooie confesses her undying love for Banjo and they share a passionate kiss is sort of out of place. Not Rare's best work IMO.
