@purplephish20 Yes, despite being a loyal user of the site for nearly a year, changing my name and avatar to that of a cute pink pony is silence-worthy. Which is ironic, considering whatsisface's parading about free speech and all that.

Ok... even if @ceruleanspark gets shouted at for changing the logo at leisure, surely there is nothing wrong with a rotating selection of rainbow dash pictures? I know !braeburn network would be preferable, or spitfire network, but that aint likely... just asking for some original rainbow dash thats all

@purplephish20 It is especially noteworthy in that the site doesn't even belong to him anymore. He was just going to shut it down, but thanks to @purpletinker and the community was persuaded to hand it over to @mrdragon and @ceruleanspark instead. But it seems he wasn't ready to give up unilateral decision making power and kept the domain.

@purpletinker Yes, but to put it bluntly... he's not a good admin. Even ignoring when he overreacts, he gave out mod priveleges like candy when he was the head admin, and most of said mods were hardly ever around.

@purpletinker It doesn't alter the fact that holding the domain hostage is a dick move, doesn't matter how much of a "good pony" you are otherwise.

@scribble I have seen Cabal overreact many times. But I've also seen how compassionate he is when I badly needed a friend. I've met him multiple times IRL. He's never struck me as evil at all. Idealistic, sometimes prone to knee-jerk reactions, but never malicious. He reminds me of myself at his age, actually.

@colfax I won't even get into how much BronyCon intellectual property I still control. BronyCon's still here. So's RBDN. Don't worry. As long as I draw breath and there's a community to fill these digital walls, RBDN will be around. If you want to get your jimmies rustled about someone in our community, I can point you at MUCH better targets for jimmy-rustling, people who have done things with actual malice for their own gain.

@purpletinker And RDBN will be even better off once we move to a server 3x the power this one has next month. We can do some crazy things with that.

@purpletinker I wouldn't say never. The way he acted about shutting down RDN seemed a bit ridiculous to me.

@redenchilada I recall him saying he would shut it down. This would not have benefited him in the slightest. It would have damaged his reputation and caused a lot of upset people. I really don't see how you think he could have benefited from a shutdown of the service.

@purpletinker Ok, then, I'll concede that point. It was still reckless and careless, which is not a quality I want to see in someone with that much say in the site. I'm not saying he's a bad _person_, but he makes way too many snap calls without considering the community for me to trust him _as an admin_.

@toksyuryel Cheaper, and two duel cores in fact is better then a single quad core, it spreads the load even more successfully.
