@zeldatra Animal Crossing isn't a role-playing game by definition of the genre, but it is one by the definition of the individual words. (You play a role as a villager and basically live out a normal life so)

@awesam15 It's still closer to a sim. If you wanted to apply that logic you could say a fighting game is also an RPG because you're roleplaying a fighter. I don't consider anything an RPG unless there's one of the following: dungeons/loot/stats/equipment/party management.

@awesam15 that's the easy part. The worst part is painstakingly breeding pokemon for weeks on end getting the perfect nature and perfect IVs and making sure they got the right ability and egg moves you want.

@zeldatra Well, I dunno if that's an actual death, but I remember when I used to play I'd lure sims out into the lawn then trap them into a 1 tile x 1 tile room with no windows or doors and let them die, but it seems like they'd wet the floor THEN the grim reaper comes in. Iunno.
