@critialcloudkicker yeah, pretty much that
-
@critialcloudkicker Well, I suppose you could. I just try to avoid any passive energy consumption to maximize efficiency.
-
@critialcloudkicker thanks :v
But one day i got a ps1 with 10 pirate games and those crasy games sort of died -
@critialcloudkicker good one
-
@critialcloudkicker my mom made us go out and "climb a tree, punch each other, eat rocks, I don't care, just do something new, and bring results, in writing, spoken, or in blood"
-
@critialcloudkicker also, we used to fake bicycles accidents to get other people worried and since this city was nearly empity when we moved here we also played hide and seek in the whole city hiding on the empity houses and stuff
-
@critialcloudkicker Someone's kid probably got a rare, more serious injury; and the family probably got a lawyer involved.
-
@critialcloudkicker My firends and i were real hardcore. One of our favorite games was called "killing". Basically one of us would climb up a slide, then throw a clothes-peg away and the others had to brig it to the guy on the slide and it always involved a lot of fighting. then whoever brought the clothes peg to the guy on the slide would throw it for the others.
It was fun -
@critialcloudkicker I can't say I am fond of some things over here in the US (expensive colleges, privatized healthcare, etc.). However, I am extremely fond of the relatively relaxed gun control laws we have in most of this country. :)
-
@critialcloudkicker Admittedly, I am not in a position to make Nerf recommendations; I probably haven't used their products for 20 years or so.
-
@critialcloudkicker I played with Nerf guns (foam projectiles, if I recall correctly) back when I was a kid.
-
@critialcloudkicker Yep. And that's the point. Just keeping the gun cool.
-
@nerthos @critialcloudkicker And by that I mean add a wooden or plastic grip, and replace the sides of the case by dissipators. A 12v fan or two would be really useful but would be a big drain on the battery.
-
@critialcloudkicker Honestly I'd add a few aluminium dissipators to it.
-
@critialcloudkicker No. These multi-carts are all about false advertisement. In the early 90's my grandfather got me a famiclone and it had several "X games in 1" cartridges and all had false promises. Most of them was Super Mario Bros but starting in a different level.
-
@critialcloudkicker This cart has only 15 games. The "others" are just simply fake entries. There is a size restriction in ROM size (without any additional chips) because the CPU cannot address a lot of memory by itself.
-
@critialcloudkicker 'Murrica.
-
@critialcloudkicker Admittedly, that furry girl I saw at a gas station awhile back was quite attractive.
-
@critialcloudkicker These are my original Game Boy bootlegs. The two left ones cannot be opened without breaking anything (the Spider-Man and Fortress of Fear I have since 1991). http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/833921
-
@critialcloudkicker It's super simple except for the part where you have to build a circuit so that the coils turn on in order.
-
@critialcloudkicker Well, there are magazines on that. My father has a collection on electronics magazines that basically teach you all the basics and give you diagrams to build loads of stuff.
-
@critialcloudkicker Yeah. This one is very easily overlooked. Without the knowledge I looked up a few days ago I wouldn't know that.
-
@critialcloudkicker I'll promise to share any pictures of bootleg cartridges.
-
@critialcloudkicker I already own some multi-carts for the original Game Boy (thankfully they are easily spottable) so it's interesting to me how these bootlegs advanced in a way that makes me want to collect some.
-
@critialcloudkicker i am widening my horrizons
-
@critialcloudkicker First of all I wanted to get the game off the market, secondly I find bootleg games highly fascinating, thirdly I want it ultra cheap when I buy a bootleg (the seller had this at 30€ buy it now).

@critialcloudkicker One of the things that I always found interesting in the history of the americas (disclaimer: I think racism and slavery is BAD) is that US black people feel entitled as FrankerZ kuz they were enslaved, not saying what they went through was good, but when you compared USA slaves with slaves on the rest of the world, especially Brazil, they got the easy life, Brazilian slaves were basically used a cogs for the sugar mills, most of them didn't last WEEKS before they died of a work accident, or were "disposed of" after they got too injured or sick
"Oh you say your name is Kunta Kinte? I don't care, just keep cranking this lever till you die" -
@critialcloudkicker my personal vote is brazil, FrankerZ's starting to rumble in there

@critialcloudkicker You're banned!!!
