  1. @selth The limit is 1000 characters, but you could always just add a .txt file or so if you need to send something which is much longer (or link to pastebin or similar websites).

  2. @cajunbrony23 Oh, hey you! Haven't seen you in a while

  3. Okay. I've messed around with tmpfiles.d which systemd uses a bit. There are two things which can happen the next time I boot. Either I get rid of the 1GB limit, which would be great, or I completely and utterly break my /tmp/ directory and I have no clue how badly that will break my system. This is going to be so much fun tomorrow morning!

  4. @techdisk You mean this thing commonly known as "Swyping"? I find that so much easier than typing normally. I wish there was a FOSS keyboard which worked like that. I guess the Android keyboard would fall under that (I believe it is FOSS, but not completely sure) but I can't really run that yet.

  5. Dear systemd: Why are you ignoring /etc/fstab and WHY, for the love of all that is holy, do you think that 1GB is a good limit for my /tmp/ directory? I can't even download three albums without having to remove stuff manually. Gah!

  7. @ceruleanspark That would be pretty obvious, actually. Does that need to be mentioned?

  8. @ceruleanspark Why do those things come true, but "In the year 2002, we'll all be driving flying cars" not?

  10. Fun fact of the day: Pedro Lascuráin, the 34th president of Mexico, was the shortest-serving president ever. He was president for about 45 minutes.

  11. @techdisk I'm fine, although a bit sad. I just got back from my owner, a weekend is way too short :(

  18. @pony Ah, I see. Well, you'll have to be lucky that everything will go well and you won't lose anything then, but please make a backup anyway :x

  19. @omni @pony I should've read the topic better, it seems like that would be a good way of rooting. I must tell you that I can't help you right now because in a few minutes I'll leave to my owner for the weekend :P

  20. @pony ADB is an awesome tool, I love abusing it under Linux. CWM is pretty much essential if you want to install a custom ROM :P

  21. @pony Rooting shouldn't let you lose any data, but you should ALWAYS make a back-up. Also, that tutorial seems to be about installing a custom kernel. The modification seems to let you root something as well, but I'm not sure if a custom kernel is really what you want to use :x

  30. @pegasistance Swear words get replaced with a random weird word because RDN is too messed up to work with a "normal" wordfilter.
