  1. Junked an assignment because I couldn't even fudge up something that sounded convincing. I wouldn't read it. Neither should anyone else be tasked to.

  11. @thelastgherkin Ahahahaha. I dunno. Lately, I've been seeing more pictures of carrots covered in honey, and pumpkin pies. And the CMC tend to get covered in sticky stuff, sooo...

  12. @thelastgherkin ... Darn it, now I'm tempted to try this. Fortunately, I do not own a chess set.

  14. I think I'm gonna stop experimenting with food for a while. New tastes are rad, especially when finding something I like. But when I eat something I dislike, it seems to make me drag like a sloth. I'd rather have water and noodles for a week than another Twinkie. x.x

  23. @thelastgherkin Yay, play! XD I'm always amused when someone says they've played those games, because to me, I've pretty much forgotten they exist except as a thing I did and learned from. And to others, it's still fairly new when they usually approach me about it, so then I'm like. "Uhhhh, I dunno. It has code in it."

  24. @flaxx Yay, happythings! :D Actually, I think that one still has a good bit of potential, but I just haevn't sat down to do anything with it.

  26. @thelastgherkin Kinda? I've already made some games before back in 2008. http://travisuped.com/flash/ballup.htm and http://travisuped.com/dkeeper.htm stand out in my mind. This toy is a more recent, but not really a game. http://retl.info/experimental/jsbunnies.htm Weak examples of game design, but they function. My goal is more to polish the skills I picked up then, and apply them towards newer things... at some point. My current goal- and the reason I'm in University- is to start a Career in games. I've been saying I wanted to try it for years now, so I'm going to do so. And with the Internet, there's tons of ways to get more info on how to do just that. http://gamecareerguide.com/ I do have some other game projects I'd like to do for myself, but if I'm going to do them, it's either going to have to be now, while I have no job or later if my job doesn't involve programming. Whichever way, if I focus on it, I'm going to have to put sketching priority lower for a while to do it.

  27. @thelastgherkin I don't think I'm much busier than anypony else, but I think I probably make my smaller project sound bigger than they are or something. I dunno. What I'd like to do is try animation again, but the amount of time required to get something really nice out of it is huge. And that's just making the animation look nice, not necessarily having the best design or color choice. Oh. And landscapes. I should do more interior/exterior/landscape stuff, since it'd be pretty useful for games.

  28. Today, I fixed some fruit punch because it was in the fridge. Today, I found out I do not like this particular brand of fruit punch. Today, I don't think I will be buying any more fruit punch any time soon. Fortunately, this was not Berry Punch.

  29. @thelastgherkin Ahahahaha that is a cool animation. As for my experiences, I've actually remembered breakfast this time, so that's good. And I've been experimenting with markers and brushpens again, trying to figure out how I can color things on the fly without having to deal with scanning / software / whatnot. I have crayons and color pencils too, but they have a bit of a different texture than I'm looking for.
