and I've finally reached book 40, only to realize, far too late, THAT IT STOPS IN THE MIDDLE
I HAVE HALF A BOOK IN MY MIND AND I CAN'T FIND THE OTHER HALF

had to manually delete a bunch of files and restore to my backup (9th of this month)
that'll teach me to try and install MS Office

@mrmattimation if you wanna talk about interesting game mechanics you should check out Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition
it has an interesting way that the character improves and scales though out the game, there are 3 diferent types of EXP-like resources (exp, Essence and Attunement points) and you have to use dfferent kinds of weapon/armor combinations to increase the ammount of skills you have
(example: a 2h-sword with fire element that has to be changed to Earth and cannot be used with ANY armor)
it's also a great example of how you can make your final bosses RIDICULOUSLY under-powered with the right combo of skill
And it's sequel is also a great example of HOW TO cherry UP A GAME BY REMOVING EVERY UNIQUE THING IT HAD AND MAKING IT A DIABLO CLONE -

But srsly I consider ST a great series, but I think that making it a sci-fi was a silly decision. mostly kuz their techno-babble is pathetic -
