  1. @twilightdashjack Yay, welcome to RDN! :) And, yes, Twilight Sparkle is pretty awesome. :)

  2. @madflavors Apparently, it's army. The shirt is actually navy-styled, as contrasted to the other one of Spitfire laying out on an artillery barrel, where she's wearing a bomber jacket (Some may consider #: http://www.canterlot.com/gallery/image/1094-join-the-rea/). 3. @madflavors @miloth I believe it's Royal Equestrian Army.

  4. @nlghtmaremoon Awww! I've always said that you were simply misunderstood. :)

  5. @nlghtmaremoon Somewhat, though a relatively benign one, I think.

  6. @tj Hello, and welcome to RDN! :)

  7. @scribus I've pretty much stopped shopping at the Fry's near me due to their bait-and-switch games like that. :( A shame, since they used to sometimes have really good deals.

  8. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony I think @nlghtmaremoon was referring to the belief that your name looks like it's spoken very quickly (i.e. while hyped up on a sugar rush). But I could be mistaken. How IS the advent calendar going, though? :)

  9. @seanthebluesheep You rock! Woohoo! Now we know why your picture is the Victory statue (though the statue is, sadly, lacking her own 87% hat). :D

Friday, 23-Dec-11 22:08:43 UTC from web in context
  10. @seanthebluesheep That settles it. Unless you can find the 87% hat, go with the music. Your hat needs to be at least 84% awesome, or it won't be 20% cooler. *nods as if that makes perfect sense*

  11. @spectraflare Yay! Welcome to RDN. :)

  12. @pinhooves Yay! That much IS good. :)

  13. @pinhooves Ewww, eight hours on Christmas Eve. And, absolutely, it's a fine job, but that's still brutal. Been there, done that, and felt the relief when the crowd was locked out and the store closed.

Friday, 23-Dec-11 08:12:35 UTC from web in context
  14. @pinhooves Well, sort of figured that. The last few days before Christmas tend to be all hands on deck in retail and grocery. But eight hours both, or half-day on Saturday and they close the store early, or . . . ? Any little glimmer of relief?

  15. @scribus Ouch! Well, I hope that you sleep well, NyQuil and all. :)

Friday, 23-Dec-11 08:07:26 UTC from web in context
  16. @pinhooves Yes, I can imagine it does. How's your work schedule looking between now and Sunday?

Friday, 23-Dec-11 08:02:06 UTC from web in context
  17. @pinhooves Awww! Sorry to hear you had a bad feet day there. :( All part of the insane last-minute Christmas feast shopping rush, running you ragged there?

Friday, 23-Dec-11 08:00:14 UTC from web in context
  18. @nlghtmaremoon I certainly understand how that goes. Hello to you, too! :)

  19. @fallinwinter HUZZAH! About time! I, for one, welcome the eternal night of our new mighty Empress Nightmare M-- Oh, you're kidding. Er . . . I mean . . . Well, so was I! Ha! Ha ha! Bad Nightmare Moon! Baaaad Nightmare Moon! No cookie. *cough*

  20. @yodelerty Thanks! I'm feeling a little spacey, though. ;) Hope the rest of your day goes well!

  26. @pinhooves Hello, there! :) Going well enough, thank you! How are you doing, aside from laundry struggles?

  27. @cabal Yay! Well done! :)

  28. @ceruleanspark Ohhh, that does sound like a little slice of Heaven there, all right. Any ill effects from the food would be countered by the benefits of lowered stress levels from petting a small herd of kitty cats. It's scientifically proven by someone, I'm sure.

  29. This is huge (by virtue of the fact that the worlds found aren't). http://www.space.com/13990-2-earth-size-alien-planets-kepler-smallest-worlds.html These worlds won't sustain life as we'd be able to identify it, but it brings us a lot closer to being able to find worlds that could. (And -- in the interest of keeping things on-topic -- if we find Equestria out there, I swear, I am buying a surplus Russian space suit and Soyuz craft, and developing an FTL drive using three million agitated 2-liter bottles of Sprite.)

  30. @ceruleanspark Yay, sounds like a lot of fun! :) And I'm managing all right, all told! Work is work, life is a little crazy with holiday and volunteer stuff, so it's about normal, for this time of year. :)
