Probably Stuck Between Dimensions
(Yes, I know this place is back. No, I don't plan on returning; I just don't fit in with the whole "4chan vibe", as I heard it described recently. Anyway, if anyone wants to keep in touch, catch TryshaGray on Twitter. Otherwise, have fun, and keep it pony.)
Not all ponies miss out on all that Princess Luna has put together for her show after she brings out the moon! Me? I do some of my best work and spell-weaving when the stars come out. Besides, I tend to be the sort to keep to myself, a lot of the time. Lately, I've found I'm a lot more of a "Twilight Sparkle" person, though some still say I have a very "Fluttershy" personality, right down to being more likely to talk to your critter companions than you, at first. It takes me a little while, but if I don't get too badly spooked, I'll open up. And if you see me suddenly pop out of a moon portal, or catch my eye hovering in the sky as I try to find someone or something I've lost again . . . sorry about that. I really try not to startle people too much with this stuff. It's just so cool, though!

@scoot Awesome! I've been using one for about two years now (was the first Mini that used NVidia video), and still love it. Very problem-free, and still flies for what I need it to do. (Then again, so does my old dual G4 that came before it, when I need it to.)

@ceruleanspark I have the larger size Fluttershy, which my honey picked up for me a couple of months ago. This was the second MLP toy I'd picked up for myself, but only by a matter of an hour or two. (The first was a Twilight Sparkle balloon set, which a local grocery chain was dumping off for $5.)

@ceruleanspark I confess that I caved, and picked up an Applejack with "The Ticket Master" mini DVD during my post-Christmas sale shopping on Monday. So, yes.

@brohoof Hm. As stuff in life that keeps you busy? Definitely. As good stuff? Well, I suppose that depends on your point of view. (Some days, I'd love to go back to school, and stay there, for-EV-errrrr!)

@leonkfox Yes, those are some of the reasons that I never bothered to upgrade from my original DS -- being able to play original GBA games, and better battery life . . . and, well, hardly having time to play the one I have, plus the number of games that scold me for not having played them in a while when I do pick them back up -- so that's awesome that you were able to get a DS lite for Christmas. :)

@pinhooves It really depends. It does make it easier TO get to sleep, if you're tired, but a cold just won't let you rest enough to sleep. It's not quality sleep, in my opinion, but it's definitely better than no sleep at all.

@leonkfox Hey, a surprise DS Lite sounds pretty darned good! No, I can't imagine I'd turn my nose up at one, either (though I hardly ever play with the old original DS I picked up back when those were new, but, still, it's the thought that counts, and I'd make sure to play with it just because). Anyway, glad you got a nifty new game for Christmas, there! :)

@leonkfox Oh, definitely not. I mean, hating Christmas and people and what have you because you didn't get some gadget (or any other thing, for that matter)? Maybe it's just that I had an upbringing where resources were slim, so we were really happy with what ever we got, and getting stuff was way down on the list of things that made Christmas awesome, anyway. But most of these guys . . . Wow.

@leonkfox Hmm. A few of those, among the ones who got nice things but still aren't happy, do appear to be taken out of context, or are missing information that makes what they say more understandable. For the most part, though, wow, what a bunch of spoiled brats.

@ceruleanspark Ugh! Yes, that is a big time difference and long flight to have to adjust to after. Glad the trip home went well enough, though, and that you had a fun time in New York. As for me, I'm doing all right. Yesterday was getting together with my honey's family for most of the day. Today, it's pretty much just taking it easy, unwrapping a few presents and opening some cards, and a few phone calls to make shortly. Nice and quiet.
