Probably Stuck Between Dimensions
(Yes, I know this place is back. No, I don't plan on returning; I just don't fit in with the whole "4chan vibe", as I heard it described recently. Anyway, if anyone wants to keep in touch, catch TryshaGray on Twitter. Otherwise, have fun, and keep it pony.)
Not all ponies miss out on all that Princess Luna has put together for her show after she brings out the moon! Me? I do some of my best work and spell-weaving when the stars come out. Besides, I tend to be the sort to keep to myself, a lot of the time. Lately, I've found I'm a lot more of a "Twilight Sparkle" person, though some still say I have a very "Fluttershy" personality, right down to being more likely to talk to your critter companions than you, at first. It takes me a little while, but if I don't get too badly spooked, I'll open up. And if you see me suddenly pop out of a moon portal, or catch my eye hovering in the sky as I try to find someone or something I've lost again . . . sorry about that. I really try not to startle people too much with this stuff. It's just so cool, though!

@mrdragon Ouch. I know job hunt frustration all too well. Is moving out of your current area an option? Ultimately, that's what I wound up having to do in order to find work, after I grew tired of jobs that required that I go traveling all over the hemisphere, with only the occasional weekend at home. (It's fun and exciting at first, but gets wearing after a few years.)

@mrdragon Oh, I'm still managing well enough. Been busy with holiday things, family stuff, paid and volunteer work, and such like that. Stressful, but I haven't gone completely bonkers yet! No, it's everyone else who is mad! You hear me?! EVERYONE ELSE! *cough* Sorry, a little lapse, there. ;) Seriously, though, it's been a bit crazy-making, but I'm hanging in there. It sounds like you're having a bit of a rough time there, yourself, though . . . ?

@nlghtmaremoon Considering the sunny side of the moon gets to be in the neighborhood of 100°C, I daresay most places on this little planet of ours are much, much cooler, thankfully. ;) As for DC being so windy, well, given all of the bluster that comes out of the politicians there . . . ;) The cold is difficult to reconcile, though, considering that "wind" is usually mostly just a lot of hot air. (And, seriously, glad you're having a safe trip. I hope all goes well, and you have a fun time at BronyCon. :) )

@scribus @ceruleanspark Thankfully, between coming off of a three-day weekend -- if not longer, for a lot of people took last week off -- and most people here being happy that the Oregon Ducks won the Rose Bowl yesterday (which I could normally not care less about, save for the facts that it seems to put everyone in a better mood here, and they beat Wisconsin *evil cackle!*), everyone does seem to be a little slow out of the gate this morning, making my getting up to speed a little easier, so far. :) Some people are still out, though, so I'm still having to wear more hats than usual. I think most people will be back tomorrow.

@ceruleanspark 2011 was chaotic, but there really wasn't a lot of upheaval. 2012 is already looking like it could have some pretty significant changes for me, in addition to continued craziness, so I'm not sure how much more manageable it will be, but I'm hopeful that all will come out positive in the end. :) After all, to paraphrase an old bit of latin, "Si vis concordia, para discordia."

@pinhooves Awww, last year wasn't all bad for you! You found new friends, got your first job, started accepting and understanding yourself a bit more . . . There were some tough times, sure, but there was a lot of good stuff, too, just from what I've seen. :) Anyway, here's hoping 2012 is even better for you!

@pinhooves Well, the anxiety is a normal thing. Have to build up a thick skin when you start putting your creative works into the world, and one of the ways to do so is just by going out there and doing it. :) Anyway, glad things are otherwise going well for you, there!
