  1. @sonicdash Making myself some nice chamomile tea is at the top of my list of things to do as soon as I get home. :) And that's a very good idea for getting ready for exams, so you can focus more on the weak spots. Sounds to me like you're going to do very well, there. As for quiet time here, probably here and there, but, overall, it looks like things are going to stay busy for a while here. I'll manage all right, though. Always have so far. :)

  2. @sonicdash Still breathing here, I think. *coughwheezehack* :p Ewww! I'm sorry that you have this bug, too. :( I hope that goes away for you soon! I've spent much of the day with that feeling that my mind is floating in sludge. I hope you don't have to contend with that when you go in for your exams! New study techniques, though? Do tell! And some quality quiet time sounds like a great thing to indulge in when you're on your winter break. :)

  3. @sonicdash Yikes! Sounds like a busy couple of weeks for you. I hope you're able to get the rest that you need so that you do well on those exams! I know that you'll do well. :) Any plans for your winter break, there? And I'm very glad that things have been going well, there! As for me, I've been really busy with work and life, but I'm doing pretty well right now, aside from a mild case of the sniffles that should pass soon.

  4. @sonicdash Wow! Today is just a great day for fun people to return, it seems! Welcome back! I hope that things are still going all right for you, there, and that you'll get to stick around for a while. :)

  5. @verybritishrarity Hee! Well, I commend you on your efforts, and I wish you better luck and (more importantly) much greater patience with some here than I had. I can only deal with certain behaviors for so long before I decide that it's just no longer worth the effort, and focus my time and energy on those where I don't have to deal with those things. As for the hoodie, ohhhhh, that sounds so cozy! I hope that it comes together as you envision it. :) And I do so love holiday baking. Well, I enjoy baking in general, but it just isn't the holidays until the home smells of that first batch of pumpkin pies. :)

  6. @pinhooves I wouldn't worry too much about the support of him or his little friends. (I'm guessing they were either not around when you announced it, or remained blessedly silent.) As they say, haters gonna hate.

  7. @pinhooves As well you should. :) It's a great relief to finally live life truthfully with yourself.

  8. @verybritishrarity As well you should be, not specifically checking in with me before dealing with life! *mockpoutfretfume* ;) Seriously, though, I'm just glad that you're still around. We need a bit of class and refinement around here (as it appears you've already noticed). And I'm very glad that things are back to normal-ish there, and hope that they stay that way for you! As for the cold, oh, I'm sure that it will pass soon enough. It does seem to be going around all over the place right now! I hope that you don't wind up with it. I am SO glad to hear that you got the frame put together for the mane on your hoodie, and can't wait to see how it all comes out! Hopefully, your sewing machine will get back in line soon. As for doing anything fun, oh, the usual holiday baking, shopping and getting-together for this time of year, and also finally getting to see a group I particularly like (VNV Nation) in concert. Other than that, mostly just busy with work and life in general, here. :)

  9. @pinhooves Wow, that is definitely a big moment! And I'm glad that the responses from your Mom and your friends here were positive. (Though, I must confess that I thought you were already out.) That does have to be a big relief! :)

  10. @pinhooves Oh? What happened yesterday?

  11. @drewdle That they most certainly are. :) Glad to hear that you're doing well, and not too singed. ;)

  12. @verybritishrarity Aw, I confess that I worried a little that you might have been another who joined up, saw the way things can get around here, and found that your time could be better spent elsewhere. Very glad to hear that I was mistaken! As for me, oh, busybusybusy, and fighting a bit of a cold right now, but overall doing pretty well, thank you! OH! By the way, how did the hoodie come out? :) Or is that why you put your sewing machine up for adoption?

Monday, 28-Nov-11 23:05:44 UTC from web in context
  13. @drewdle Wow, yay, another welcome return! Welcome back. :) I hope that things have been going well for you.

  14. @pinhooves Hello, there! Managing well enough, though my brain feels badly water-logged and sluggish. Darn this cold! Working through it, though. :) How are you doing, there?

  15. @verybritishrarity Yay, welcome back! :) Missed you here! So sorry to hear about the family troubles, but glad that things are back on an even keel for you. :)

  16. @princessluna Awww! Working through your final project? You can do it! You have the power of awesomeness. :)

  17. @ceruleanspark Hooray! :D Run! Escape while you can!

Monday, 28-Nov-11 17:54:25 UTC from web in context
  18. @ceruleanspark Thanks! :) Heh! If I called in sick every time I felt bad in the morning, I would probably be very unemployed. I've never been a morning person, so waking up any time before noon feeling "bleh" is sort of standard. The shower sort of gets me past that, normally. So, when I can't finish a shower without having to stop and lie down, I know that I'm useless to anyone, and need to take it easy.

  19. @mrdragon Awww! I hope that you feel better there, soon, and that things work out for your honey. Saw your note about that. It's frustrating, when someone you care about is going through a rough patch, and you want so much to fix it and make it better for her. Most likely, though, after all is said and done, what she really needs isn't for you or anyone to fix everything, but to just understand and support her while she deals with this. Doesn't make things any easier on you, but . . . :) And, yes, ponies definitely seem to have a way of brightening gloomy, low days. It's The Power of Ponies. :)

  20. @eaglehooves Thanks! :) Yes, there definitely seems to be. (Mine was much worse over the weekend, so this is an improvement.) I hope that you're able to avoid it.

  21. Feeling mildly like crap from a bad cold, but still pushing myself to work because I was able to finish my morning shower without the need to fall back into bed before it's over (sort of my litmus for staying home). And, yet, PinkiePieSwear's tunes still make me want to bounce around the train. Behold, the power of ponies.
