@xeleanorxrigbyx Things start showing up in the warm seasons, they feed off seeds on the trees, much to my father's disgust since they drop the remains of their food on top of the car. They're actually "lauchas" though, not rats. I don't know the english name for them

@neuraria You know, there strikes something I've been meaning to ask an Australian about. Does driving seem like, imperative to the culture there? As in, like it's still a rather big deal (I think so) in the States to get your license in your teenage years.

@awl When you get a full licence, I imagine so. It was certainly big when I got my Ls. I think it's certainly important when you are in a country area, and towns are quite a ways apart.

Does anybody else have a family member that loves to keep going on about how the system is broken or something? It's either stuff to go with governments/corporations wanting control over everyone's lives, or modern technology keeping stupid people alive, or whatever. I am fully aware that we're screwed, thanks, I just want to go to work.

@snowcone Right! And I feel like people who just tell me 'computers are just like that, you shouldn't worry' don't get how frustrating it can be for the computer to just do things like black out because I wanted to play a specific game or whatever.

@snowcone This machine just keeps coming up with new problems with each upgrade. Surprisingly many of my new computer problems started with my new SSD. I can't win! I need to stop trying to save this machine and work for a new one (Probably actually a Mac, at least I can dual boot)

My thoughts on this: There's a time and place for everything. Some people are more suited to reaching others on a logic-based level. Some people are more able to reach people emotionally. Most are a mix of both, some lean more towards one or the other.
