  7. Don't stop because you might get burned and you might just learn to stand on your own two feet, and I think that it's neat how you learn to repeat everything that you hear in the street so well.
You learn to repeat everything that you hear so well.

  15. @mrmattimation Like there's a cure for the common cold? Not really. Stop panicking about things like this or you'll never get anywhere. As soon as you stop worrying about "Oh no I made a person mad at me" the better, everything you say /might/ set someone off, just be knowledgeable, be polite and don't knowingly upset people. If you're wrong, admit it, if you're not don't be obnoxious about it, do all these little things and you'll be doing the best you can and nobpdy can fault you.

  18. I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's worth. Banks are going bust. Shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the street and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat, and we sit watching our TVs while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen homicides and sixty-three violent crimes, as if that's the way it's supposed to be.
We know things are bad — worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is: 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone.'

  30. @clayinthecarpet See that's REALLY cool. One of the appeals behind digital art is that you don't really have to spend a lot of money on a failed project. You can delete and start over if you want and not waste anything but time, which isn't really wasted if you're actually learning things as you work. If oil clay can be re-used, then that's REALLY appealing to me.
