  1. @zarkanorf Well since you asked so nicely, #

  2. Fun Fact: I don't even know where to begin with this chat.

  3. So many ponies in here now. Good thing I stopped playing xbox with my friends for now. Now way would I be able to keep up with this.

  4. @the20percent So what do you wish me to do past those emails and whatnot that I've already done? I understand full well how inconvenient and terrible the outcome will be, but my voice can only do so much past what I've already done. Having no internet access at all for a week was more than annoying enough, but I managed. That's not the point though and the thing is that I understand how inconvenienced it would be and how privileged we are right now to have it.

  5. @the20percent Well the way you all threw around the word necessary I wouldn't think so. Regardless, I honestly just want to know what the point that is trying to be got across is? Most of us here seem to understand the importance regardless of whether we support a blackout or not and a decision hasn't even been made yet. Why is this so heated?

  6. @the20percent I agree that if it can help, I can find something not connected to Wikipedia, RDN or other sites for a while. Is it necessary however? No. The problem I have is that people are calling it necessary and whatnot. The site being down for a while isn't anything to freak out about, but neither will the site being down make or break the SOPA situation in my opinion. Treat it like it is, a potential help to the situation regardless of how large or little it will impact the outcome with minor inconvenience for a short while, not the end of the world.

  7. RT @cabal @redenchilada Alrighty, under the terms of section 8. I hereby partially remove your access to RDN for one month with no explanation, No appeals, No work arounds, no information, no nothing. #

  8. @cabal I don't know if it will work how you expect it to, but this is not my call and all I can do is give my opinion on the issue. In all honestly though, I suppose if it /could/ help the issue by having the site gone for 12 hours, by all means, why not?

  9. @cabal So you want to stop SOPA...by BECOMING SOPA? This isn't Batman you know.

Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 03:20:09 UTC from web in context
  10. @cabal What does that have to do with the question? (Which I admit was accidentally posted as a statement.)

Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 03:11:16 UTC from web in context
  11. @cabal If they're not sensible enough to realize the direness of the situation without resorting to extreme measure such as shutting down a site, why would you believe they're going to be sensible enough to call or write to the people who matter instead of just complaining to you for shutting it down.

Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 03:07:06 UTC from web in context
  12. @cabal Well technically yes it would not help. It seems kind of backwards to show your disapproval by doing exactly what the bill intends to do angering those who may use it.

  13. @the20percent I just didn't want something to go wrong with it and have to send it in to fix the battery. I have the Bionic instead which I'm relatively satisfied with.

  14. @macpony55 I got a pinkie pie toothbrush, a pinkie pie bubble blower, and a Twilight Sparkle brushie for graduation. I got a different Twilight and Rainbow Dash for Christmas. The rest were bought by me and I have one shirt.

  15. @macpony55 Half of them were Christmas and graduation presents though. =P

  17. @macpony55 I love breakfast for dinner! Though I'd probably want bacon too. Hash browns would also be nice.

  18. @the20percent Tell me about it. I'd rather live somewhere where it's cold all the time. It's easier to stay warm than to stay cold. Tends to cost less too.

  19. @the20percent It's boring. You're stuck in the middle of the ocean in a generally uncomfortable hot and not dry heat all the time. =P

  20. @redenchilada That actually sounds useful. We instead got this family who tried caroling and getting money out of us near Christmas who couldn't sing and kept bothering us as we tried getting inside the house after having just come home while it was raining. =/

  23. @princesstwilight The story wasn't bad, though the ending was a bit sudden and didn't really make me feel as sad as it could have. The concept in itself was interesting though and I admit it did pretty well considering only being 14k words.

  24. @redenchilada @icedragon The irony of all of this is that you started up your first post since 3 days ago saying that this site was bad. If you had said something like, "Hey, what's up?" or "Did anyone like the new episode?" even "I think I found a penny on the ground today." You would have gotten a pretty decent response. You kinda brought that upon yourself.

  25. @thatonepony Is it dry heat? Hawaii doesn't get /that/ hot, but it does get annoying with the moisture in the air.

  26. I just realized my name is still pumpkinhill from a good half a day ago. Huh.

  27. @icedragon Internet = Instant Decency isn't the best idea to go into it with. Setting standards for others sounds nice, but one that just doesn't work and a bit rude in itself sometimes. People will be pricks so ignore them, get over it, suck it up, kiss and make up, etc.

Tuesday, 17-Jan-12 00:34:44 UTC from web in context
  28. @thatonepony I've still yet to see snow =/ The only time Hawaii shuts down is when it rains really really really badly.

  30. @icedragon This is when you are supposed to ignore them and then talk to the people who are being nice.
