Bleh, I think sketching is the most boring part of drawing, at least for me. Working with vector is where the real fun is. Alas, I need those sketches to be able to draw something decent, so I guess I have little choice. But enough ranting, I gotta go take a shower, then I'm going to bed. Good night, everypony!

@ignaesia Well, I don't really think it's boring. It's okay, but I usually use GIMP for my sketches, and then import them into Inkscape and use them as guidelines when I do the vectors. The problem is I have to use my mouse, and I suck at drawing with mice.

@ignaesia couple questions for ya: did you do any art beforehand, and if so how did you learn to draw - formally, through some "HOW U DRAW ART" book, or just by doodling? Also, what guides were helpful to you in learning how to pony art?

@starshine hahaha, no actually I didnt! I started drawing when EqD did the newbie artist training ground and I kept doing it everyday since, so all I draw are ponies. Which means i've only been sketching for a few months now. Here attached is one I did on my 2nd or 3rd day (sorry for that bad photo quality). I used guides, lots of guides and advice from a pencil artist friend IRL. I practiced alot and still do, every single day I draw at least 1 thing. That contributed more than anything else! I have packed around 100 orders of pins now and I dont feel like the bags full of pins have gotten any less pins in them. If you are in the US and you ordered there is a very likely chance that your order will get shipped tonight.

@mrbrown Depends on the hot sauce. Frank's Red Hot is one of my favorites, but it's not really hot. Meanwhile, the hottest variety at BW3s (atomic, maybe?) is actually quite spicy.

@noether Google Maps says the bus can get you to within a mile of Edgewater in like an hour. Though that's a bit long, and it's only about 15-20 minutes by car, so maybe we could also send somepony over to pick you up.
