  1. @zeldatra I guess... #

  2. @neurario I have a partner, so I guess I shouldn't have such feelings in the first place, but I still feel a bit heartbroken... Kinda want my partner to hug me IRL now, but I guess I'll just have to do with an online hug, so thanks #

  3. @zeldatra Of course. I'm sorry, my grammar isn't top-notch at 1AM.

  4. Apparently it hurts if your BFF, for who you have some feelings despite having a partner who you love, tells you he has no feelings for you at all anymore. Because, hey, today wasn't papayasty enough yet and now I can't even sleep because I feel too crappy. How great.

  5. @redenchilada Dammit.

  6. @redenchilada Is that MD5?

  7. @crusader8 That's not hipster talk. Then again, you've probably never heard of real hipster talk.

  9. @kamikaze Understandably. I am calm again right now, so I don't need it a lot, but I'm wondering anyway what kind of chat services you use. XMPP, by any chance? Perhaps some OTR to go with that? o,o

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 21:21:59 UTC from web in context
  10. @kamikaze Possibly, but I don't have a lot of places I can go to =/

  11. @darkw00d Yeah, we sometimes have fun. Was playing some Portal 2 with him yesterday, that was fun for a few hours and I guess spending time with some people is good for me. At least, having him sleep over and nothing happening will hopefully help me get over the general fear I have for sleepovers after a close friend wanted to be "a bit too close" (sorry for saying it in such a way. I know it's hypocritical, but it's easier). Right now, I'm just going to grab something to drink and play some FOSS games with FOSS people so I can feel better. Sorry for bothering you with all this, and thanks for giving me the opportunity to vent my frustrations.

  12. @mushi People like to talk about sexual things in general, yes, but I've never seen a group talk about rape as much as bronies. I know I may be stereotyping, but I've spend time with a fair amount of people, and I swear that, at least in my experience, bronies are really worse when it comes to this.

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:38:03 UTC from web in context
  13. @mushi Most people, yes, so it is quite annoying to spend time with others if you're one of the low amount of people who actually dislike that. Bronies appear to be pretty terrible in general, though, at least the Dutch meets are filled with rape jokes (which is pretty much the main reason I barely go to any of them).

  14. After 1 hour and 20 minutes, I have successfully retrieved roughly 5 percent of a ~90kb file over Freenet. This is going well.

  15. @darkw00d I believe you start it and "cd" into the correct directory (cd directoryname) and then start the DOS program which is in there? I'm not sure, though, so I could be wrong.

  16. @darkw00d What makes him annoying is the sexual innuendos he likes to make and his ability to talk when I want him to be quiet. Also, the fact that he doesn't really clean up his mess unless I explicitly tell him to. I don't expect a chance higher than 0.01% to find someone else who actually does not enjoy sexual innuendos either, and who wouldn't talk when I wouldn't want him to (because, frankly, I'm guilty of that as well). So he isn't all that bad, but he does manage to annoy me a lot at times.

  17. @nerthos I remember us having a similar discussion some time ago which only resulted in me freaking out. I know you're trying to help, and I appreciate it, but I'd rather be a stupid, moronic hypocrite right now who complains about things he could change if he wouldn't be such an idiot who is afraid of failing. Thanks, though.

  18. @redenchilada Because he's the closest I have to a "real-life" friend and he sometimes manages to make me not want to kill myself over being a worthless mess. I wish he'd come over less often, though, or at least be less annoying half the time. Then again, I hate everything most people like. I'm sure he'd push me into nothingness again when he joins here, because he'd obviously be more popular than I'll ever be. At any rate, he's the best I have. Not everyone is popular and has a lot of friends, some people have to be happy with one who doesn't live far away.

  19. @nerthos I luckily don't have to fix it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't stress me out to screw something up while driving when I already hate driving so much. It's just way too stressful to me. Why can't we have teleportation devices by now, so we don't need all this junk? It's the 21st century, why aren't we even at 1% of all those things people wrote about that we'd have by now?...

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:07:57 UTC from web in context
  20. @nerthos Not if it's your parents who want you to bring your stupid friend, who decided to walk 45 minutes to your home to stay over for no real reason, so that he doesn't have to walk back in the rain because I applesing hate him as well because he never leaves me the apples alone and it is all his fault.

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:04:27 UTC from web in context
  21. I hate driving. People make me drive. I hit stuff. I hate driving even more. Grr...

  22. @renovatedkitchen That would be part of "safety equipment", even though it still seems pretty suicidal to me.

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 17:12:18 UTC from web in context
  23. @ceruleanspark Well, okay, that's a lot better than "jumping out without safety equipment".

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 17:05:25 UTC from web in context
  24. @ceruleanspark I won't. I'd rather have you on a safe place. Then again, we're talking about "jumping out of a plane with a parachute", right?

  25. @mushi I could've sworn it said "or". I think my ability to read is directly influenced by how hungry I am. Sorry :(

  26. @mushi "A or B?" "Yes."

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 15:51:48 UTC from web in context
  27. @toksyuryel Definitely. Perhaps I'll get used to it if I play more, but I really like Nethack's lower pace. Still, thanks for the tip!

  28. Contrary to my expectation, S3E5 "Magic Duel" was actually pretty good.'

  29. @toksyuryel I just gave brogue a try. It feels like Nethack running with SDL or so. Personally, I prefer Nethack because I find it much easier to understand the map in it and I move way too fast under Brogue, but perhaps I should just learn to play it better.

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 13:09:03 UTC from web in context
  30. @toksyuryel Like Nethack? I just discovered Nethack a month ago or so. It's extremely hard, but fun!
